Can a model use an Airborne Deployment skill and come onto the board in the holo echo state?

The rules for AD seem to be permissive in terms of language and deployment, however I'm not sure if the timing of when the different skills activate would cause an issue. The model is arriving using an entire order skill which should fit the requirements for cancellation of the holo echo state.

"The Holoprojector L2 bearer declares a Skill other than Cautious Movement or a Short Movement Skill that does not require a Roll (except Alert)."

    Yes:
    • This piece of Equipment allows its bearer to deploy in the Holoecho state when he is placed on the table.

That I agree with, however the part I'm curious about does using the AD skill to deploy then qualify to immediately cancel the holo echo state. RAW it appears to do so but I'm not sure about the timing between the two rules interacting.

During regular deployment no skills are used so there's no issue with cancellation. However with a Bashi Bazouk they've gotta use airborne deployment which brings up this issue because it's not a cautious move or a short movement skill and they're declaring an entire order to do it.

Not just that - the first Activation bullet for the state is:
    • Automatic when deployed, placing three Holoechoes on the game table, within Coherency of each other. Players must respect the general conditions of the Deployment rules.
    My emphasis.

You're overly complicating it. But the more technical answer is order of declaration matters:

You declare the Entire Order skill (this declaration would cancel the Holoecho state that the Bashi isn't in because they're not on the table) and then you deploy the Bashii (using the Holoprojector 2 skill when they deploy onto the table and acquiring the Holoecho state).

But that's mainly post hoc justification of an interaction that's already clear.
