I am super pumped about Defiance. But now I realized that I will be getting a ridiculous number of miniatures. And a whole bunch of cleaning :open_mouth:

So I was wondering, what level of cleaning should we be expecting for the Defiance miniatures? Like removing flash and straightening weapons/digits/guns? Will it be similar to Infinity level of care? Or would it be less due to Defiance being aimed "somewhat" at the board game market?

I would expect the cleaning & assembly to be roughly the same as Infinity miniatures - perhaps slightly less, but not by too much.

    Comparable to Operation Wildfire IMO.

How was Operation Wildfire's miniatures? I am assuming they were easier than Icestorm's? Thank you again for your assistance.

Yeah, generally the last two years has seen a move towards much easier to build models. They still need cleaning of flash and mould lines/vents but they're in fewer, larger pieces.

Though it's not from Wildfire the Cadmus that just came out is a two piece model despite the wings and outstretched arms, which honestly blew my mind. There's nothing anywhere near as fiddly as the ORC/Mobile Brigada antennae from Icestorm, even the recent ORC box has the antennae as a single piece with part of the head, much easier to put together.
