I have a tournament incoming to celebrate N3 before its end and I'm thinking of using it to test vanilla CA (I play one army per season and my previous armies were Pano/Nomads/Aleph/Ariadna)

The tournament mission are Looting & Sabotaging, Transmission matrix, Unmasking, Power Pack and Countermeasure

I'm thinking of having one list with one of the big TAG (Avatar or Sphinx, still need to think on it) for looting and sabotaging and usable in Power Pack.

Question is : what Datatracker take in my second list ? If you have any advice, I'm interested. A "not to costly" datatracker would be best to allows me to take the full specialist roaster for countermeasure

With these mission I need a Datracker that can move and survive midfield if necessary, so I'm not convinced by the big guy (avatar, charontid...) are the good tool for this job but if you think they are, please tell me why.

I also see some potential for keeping a speculo, as it can score some quick points if I start and use it as datatracker in countermeasure (depending on the classified) or transmission matric (should be easy to kill an HVT with him)

So I would suggest Sheskiin as the DT for countermeasures and Unmasking. And the Sphinx with a mentor for looting sabatog and powerpack. As a reminder, DT can not start in or enter a marker state.

Sheskiin is a good bet, also a bit less survivable in W but kodali covert ops mode, packs D charges, msv 2 is a character, starts mid field, decent with mines due to BTS3 bio immunity, has mimetism and packs two assault pistols for making bad people go away and often enjoys a snack afterwards.

I've Ran the Charontid as a datatracker sucessfully in transmission matrix and unmasking.

I've also ran Sheskiin as a datatracker in countermeasures and unmasking and it was boss. This was the list:

For one memorable CA vs CA game I actually switched the Sog into the datatracker because I knew the opponent would be gunning for my Sheskiin. It was countermeasures. Sog managed to score all three classifieds on the last turn (I don't remember the cards, but being an Elite Heavy Infantry DataTracker the Sog can acomplish a lot of them) to cinch the win.

I took a look at sheskin, what about the HI version ? It's a bit costlier but it an HI and as such can do one more classified for countermeasure

It a good version if you can afford the cost increase and the hack weakness

Boarding action sheskin is missing this sweet, sweet nanoscreen for some reason. (Which is strange as she is wearing gwailos armor and gwailos do have nanoscreen.)
So you do have to play her differently than the standard sheskin.

Same question but with the new profiles

While it's true Sheskin is still great, what about the Zerat ? Mimestim -6, infiltration and a good choice of weapon (including LGL for HVT hunting or red fury for midfield control). Also cheap enough to be taken with some heavy unit like an avatar or a sphinx

Any new profile that looks nice ?

Given that there's no Datatracker token on the N4 sheet it might be that this rule is getting dropped from ITS. Might be an oversight, though.
