Well since some people with prime instigator @Flipswitch challenged me to paint Dart in the theme (the rest you know who you are) I did for Bostria for a day, I decided to up take the challenge and actually do it.

So here you go challenge accepted!

Expect many false starts, strips and try again and myself regretting the white, I never really paint beyond tabletop quality and this will be an interesting project to try and attempt things I would not do to minis for tabletop level.

Hopefully it will be an interesting experience for all, expect infrequent updates.

Which I started three weeks ago

and will probably finish after you.

Painting white is really fun*, but really good for learning.

    Nice challenge!
Actually, my wife wants me to do the same, but with her version of Dart.
As she won the Bostria for one day contest, it is more an order than a request...
(And yes, we wentto the Interplanetario for me and she won something. I will hear it for at least one year...)

Yes, I'd like to see the picture once again too. The result (red / white / black if I remember correcttly) was stunningly gorgeous!

And unfortunately, I don't have good pictures of the design, just a blurry one taken from afar.:weary:
Hopefully, CB will post some good pictures of the event!

    Yes, it was this one!

    Edit:
Here is the blurry photo I took durint the award ceremony:

It was a stunning colouring work, really well done in the way classical inking was done in the golden age of comics, was one of my picks of who would have won the contest.

Will be interesting to see the textures and materials the drawing implies to be rendered into a miniature, I really do not envy you its a difficult painting above my skill level.

    Good luck!
