    ------------------------------

Greetings everyone on this new forum!

As the old forum is going to close forever (a minute of silence for it), I'll be settling down here to make room for my blog posts in this new forum. As this is now a bilingual section, I'll also write these posts in here bilingual as well.

For those of you who might not know me, I've got a little blog where I show my miniature conversions and those fully modelled by me, mostly for Infinity, but also for some other games. You can follow my posts in here, or from my blog:

    www.custominiworksop.com

It's updated (mostly) every Tuesday with a new entry. Wellcome to all first commers, and for those who already knew me make yourselves at home!

A question to the master(of puppets):
I want to do a robe for a moderator, how would you do it?

    ____________________________________________________

Hm... I didn't get an email with you replies, I'll check my forum settings later.

Cloacks are tricky, and how to model them depend on its size and how they flow arround. A simple cloack can be modelled directly over the miniature or using plasticard as a base. More complex ones need either a base of wires (althouhg I'm not particularly fond of this way) or using a thin sheet of plasticard as a base to model over it before gluing it on the miniature. Anyway I've still got a lot to learn about complex cloacks, but I hope my tips are helpfull.

[ENG] Kitchen film or oven paper are good supports to get the basic shape. Place it over something to hold the shape. After it dries, or at least is a bit stiff, you can attach and do details.

    _______________________________

That method's only worked for me on straight cloacks. If the cloack's curved by the pose of the mini (like the Guts and Griffith I made), the baking paper gets wrinkles and wastes the shape I ment. I should try with kitchen film and see how it goes.

[ENG] Or plastic bags. IIRC the first time I saw this was a zip bag. Anything that lets you peel the putty.

Thanks a lot @Golem2God! In fact, one of the projects I'm currently working in is a conversion for Saito from Ghost in the Shell, which shouldn't take too long to finish. Stay tunned for more Section 9 action!

    _____________________________________
I'm just an aprentice on Bostria's hype technique. However, I do want to announce that, amongst all the things I'm doing right now, there's a conversion for PanO's HVT as certain character from certain sci-fi show that's trendy nowadays... I won't say any more :tonguewink:

I'm glad you liked it, I had so much fun working on that model. I guess that one could aslo pass as a mad scientist from Praxis:smile:.

    ¡Buenos días!

Hoy os traigo la continuación (por fin) de la saga de miniaturas de Ghost in the Shell para mi ejercito de Aleph. Ahora le toca a Saito, el francotirador.

Aleph in the Shell (Parte 6): Saito

    [IMG] Aleph in the Shell
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10 [IMG]1
[IMG] ASURA Teniente Hacker (Disp. de Hacker Plus UPGRADE: Redrum) Fusil Combi, Nanopulser / Pistola, Arma CC AP. (0.5 | 72)
[IMG] DANAVAS Hacker (Disp. de Hacker de Asalto. UPGRADE: Rompehielos) Fusil Combi + Pitcher / Pistola Breaker, Cuchillo. (0.5 | 23)
[IMG] ATALANTA Fusil Francotirador MULTI + TinBot E (Spotter) / Pistola, Cuchillo. (1.5 | 39)
[IMG] EUDORO Mk12, Nanopulser, Granadas Eclipse / Pistola, Arma CC DA. (0 | 40)
[IMG] MIRMIDÓN Fusil Combi, Nanopulser, Granadas de Humo / Pistola, Arma CC DA. (0 | 26)
[IMG] THORAKITES (Observ. de Artillería, Visor 360º) Subfusil, Chain Rifle / Pistola, Cuchillo. (0 | 13)
[IMG] DÁCTILO Ingeniero Fusil Combi, Flammenspeer, Cargas-D / 2 Pistolas Breaker, Cuchillo. (0.5 | 24)
[IMG] Rebot ZAYIN Ametralladora / Pulso Eléctrico. (1 | 26)
[IMG] Rebot SAMEKH Lanzamisiles Inteligente / Pulso Eléctrico. (1.5 | 18)
[IMG] Rebot DALETH Fusil Combi, Sniffer / Pulso Eléctrico. (0 | 17)

    5.5 CAP | 298 Puntos

    Abrir en Infinity Army

    Cada personaje sería el siguiente:
    • Asura = Mayor Motoko Kusanagi
    • Danavas = Ishikawa
    • Atalanta = Saito
    • Eudoro = Batou
    • Mirmidón = Pazu
    • Torakite OA = Togusa

    ______________________________________________________________

    Good morning everyone!

Here's (finally) the next chapter of the Ghost in the Shell conversions for my Aleph army. Today is Saito's turn, the sniper of the team:

Aleph in the Shell (Part 6): Saito

Some of you have also asked about my Ghost in the Shell list for Aleph. Here's the one I'm currently using:

    [IMG] Aleph in the Shell
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10 [IMG]1
[IMG] ASURA Lieutenant Hacker (Hacking Device Plus UPGRADE: Redrum) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. (0.5 | 72)
[IMG] DANAVAS Hacker (Assault Hacking Device. UPGRADE: Icebreaker) Combi Rifle + Pitcher / Breaker Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 23)
[IMG] ATALANTA MULTI Sniper Rifle + TinBot E (Spotter) / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 39)
[IMG] EUDOROS Mk12, Nanopulser, Eclipse Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 40)
[IMG] MYRMIDON Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 26)
[IMG] THORAKITES (Forward Observer, 360º Visor) Submachine gun, Chain Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13)
[IMG] DACTYL Engineer Combi Rifle, Flammenspeer, D-Charges / 2 Breaker Pistols, Knife. (0.5 | 24)
[IMG] ZAYIN Rebot HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 26)
[IMG] SAMEKH Rebot Smart Missile Launcher / Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 18)
[IMG] DALETH Rebot Combi Rifle, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 17)

    5.5 SWC | 298 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

    Each character goes like this:
    • Asura = Major Motoko Kusanagi
    • Danavas = Ishikawa
    • Atalanta = Saito
    • Eudoros = Batou
    • Myrmidon = Pazu
    • Torakites FO= Togusa
    • Dactyls= Bouma (because he's an explosives and heavy weapons expert)
    • Remotes = Tachikomas
That way, you get an almost 300 point list, a suitable list to play any Limited Insertion game. I didn't give the Danavas a hacker plus device because Ishikawa never used Cybermask as Motoko did during the anime. If you want to get exactly 300 points, just upgrade the hacking device of the Danavas and you're all set.

I hope you all like it!
