As Merovingia is used to contract Anaconda models from Corregidor for its heavy battlefield duties i must take a step here and declare the Ariadna Nation is sure Nomad TAG Models and Nomad TAG Engineers are trustworthy and have no correlation with anything close to the EI. Any other reason to have attacked Nomad soil in this asteroid can be discussed, but this flow of accusations from an O-12 High Ranking Officer is unexpected and sounds more of its PanO Background coming afloat than a Reasonable declaration. Please, restrain from such behaviour towards the Nomad Nation. Even if in this conflict, Haqquislam and Nomads have looked the other way towards Ariadna, we know to look at the big picture and dont forget they are our natural allies. Aggresive comments coming from PanO commanders towards them make us remember that more. High Diplomat Foxep, Merovingian Diplomatic Corps of the AEC.
The StateEmpire would also like to remind certain speakers that the Oom people, termed 'Helots' by their PanOceanian oppressors, are a noble species whose presence within PanOceanian forces is a result of their exploitation by the power currently occupying Varuna. This provides ample and legitimate grounds for criticism of PanOceania, of course, but certainly not based on the presence of Varuna's native population being a sign of a link with the aliens invading the Human Sphere.
This goes against the Nomads request for our aid in the defense of that Arachne Node. Their High Command explicitly requested this, and felt that Panoceania was declaring a hostile action. This is further collaborate by the Admirals call for such a thing. Arachne is a separate network from Mayanet, how would an exposed Arachne node harm Panoceania in any way?
Anyone who truly believes that the two are separate is in denial or delusional. It's possible to access one from the other already. The nature of quantronic communication essentially makes it impossible to airgap any system entirely. That being said, shutting down an arachne node seems to be closing the door after the horse has bolted, but I'm sure the PanO forces have a reason.
As explained at the time of the attack, an Arachne node is a high-power communication device networked into sites across the Sphere. Our enemy is an AI. While a breach would not directly affect PanOceanian assets, it would allow the EI to send Aspects and information anywhere in the Sphere within seconds of a node's capture. This is exactly what we are trying to prevent with this stakeout, and why it was necessary to intervene when the Arachne Node was left so badly undermanned.
OOC: I'll just leave this here, a huge thanks to Admiral JCJF for collaborating on this with us. https://heartofthehyperpower.blogspot.com/2019/10/warning-security-b.html
You will have to forgive Lady Numiria, while she may do her best to attempt to represent the Pillars and remain neutral, old biases are hard to shake. Don't forget, not every O-12 agent was born on Concilium. Hell, my mother was from Svalarheima and my father was a USAriadnan. Talk about biases...
Haqq showed their true face here. Probably we have no allies here, only current enemies and enemies in future. At least it will be harder to be disappointed.
Well it wasn't the Nomads who tried to capture your Space Station and build a Fred-Flintstone-Space-Shuttle out of it ... We didn't betray you ... What goes around, comes around.
Those kind of things happen on the best families. Think about us as the black sheep. We cause trouble from time to time, but hell, its family, isnt it?
Greetings comrades, I have trouble following this. Haq Islam attacked...i mean..."Investigated" us Ariadnans phase I because we attacked Pano two years back. Now Haq Islam is attacking Pano, breaking a non agression treaty in the proces without even a pinch of debate. That Sword of Allah really chopped that Diplomatic Pen to bits it seems. We know now who is the biggest Agressor on this Rock. Whatever Ariadna did in the past is child's play compared to them. Remembers the time when they were neutral, High Commander Cabaray of the AEC Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G930F met Tapatalk
Haqqislam, with all respect I have for their great nation, is honest when they say they will come. They don't use false pretexte to invade your home, like the famous toaster thing... Master of the O12 puppet... Arkane, Bakunin witch...
We didn't fill the Sandanista's hold full of Shasvastii... We didn't allow a corporation operating out of our nation to spread Shasvastii around Novvy Bangkok... We'll see what comes around and how...
And we didn't try to plainly steal something from you under the excuse of getting rid of some aliens that you allegedly smuggled. There would have been other ways. You tried to stab us in the back. Nothing allies would do. Keep your embarassing excuses. Actions speak louder than words.
One thing that's never sat right, why did LaForja loose structural integrity? Was there something there that would be bad if someone had found? I mean aside from the regular nomad shenanigans, the gene splicing, drugs, and debauchery are pretty much a given...
Just a gentle reminder that the correct term is "Combined Army scum." This may as well be an issue of semantics, but are not Humans the "aliens" from the Omn perspective? I do not point this out to be divisive; the Tohaa have lived in harmony with the diversity of life found in our borders, and we hope that you Humans will see the wisdom in adopting and accepting a shared stake -- Human, Omn, and even Tohaa -- in the fight against the EI.
Hmm... because absolutely everyone was shooting wildly around to take control of it? I know, the farms you are accustomed to don't break down if you shoot some rats from your porch, but it isn't advised to shoot around when on a space station ... well in space. How to explain it with agricultural terms ... imagine you are standing in a glasshouse and empty your shotgun in some voles. If you miss your target it is highly likely you break your glasshouse. And if the only air available is in inside the glasshouse and outside is just ... nothing, that's not something you want.
Nope. Glasshouse is much harder because of antipodes and dogfaces. I thought that space stations must be hard enough to survive collision with asteroids.
Asteroids ... you mean, crashing it into Novyy Bangkok and nothing would happen? There seems to be a reason why Ariadna has no space program yet ... Let me assure you, if you shoot around enough in any given space station, it will break down.
