So I'm returning to infinity after a shileboff. Mainly did Aleph and Tohaa. But coming back I'm considering a new fraction. I know N4 coming and will shake things up but I was tossing up between Pano, Yu-jing or 0-12. I like the idea behind 0--12 partucally becuase I own the RPG and idea of playing your own heros is cool. But I really like idea of having a diverse force from all over human sphere working together to try and keep peace. Which I'm using to justify using diffrent models and conversions. I'm just stuck on his to make them work I feel like their missing something. Especially as I really like fireteams (I can just work with them better) and atm 0-12 has none. 0-12 also has problem most of the models come from Operation Wildfire and I'm really not knee non the other half of the box. With that in mind. Should I grab some now or wait for N4 and see what happens.
I don't think N4 will totally change the nature of the game. Your O-12 models now will still be usable in 6 months when N4 is released, in fact I suspect as much that they will not change very much on a much smaller level either. If you like the look of them I say buy into it, they'll probably get a sectorial pretty soon after N4 comes out and you'll be able to link your Kappas.
O-12 was released two days before N4 was first announced so I doubt it's going to change substantially in the new edition. Vanilla vs Fireteams tends to be a familiarity thing, I never quite got the hang of links but was reasonably successful with various vanilla armies.
Go for O-12! My main faction is Pano (Vanilla, Acon, Varuna, NCA), but it has been sidelined by O-12 the last few months. You want to use a bunch of AD in a playable list? You can do that! You want to stomp around in a tag? HRMC & Climbing+ is fantastic! You want to be a sneaky snek? Lynx and Razors are awesome! I have more fun building lists for, and playing, O-12 than I've had with any other faction I've tried so far. I don't miss fireteams at all, not even a little :)
Ohh thanks for responces. I am really considering it, but I dedcide I will wait till O12 are seperate fraction or I can get wildfire without the other half (maybe trade). I'm actually gonna start back at the local Infinity club so I'm hoping they will help me work stuff out.
