    Hi guys,

There was an emerging convention on the old forum to use Comic Sans when we were being sarcastic or satirical, which helped to take the heat of what had previously been quite nasty discussions.

Is there any chance we can get Comic Sans added to our font options?

Or do we have to find another font to use to communicate our intent with posts of that nature?

You do realize that wherefore means 'why'? And that is is spelled wherefore, not wherefor?

I guess not. Or, are you trying to confuse the Spanish-speaking portion of this forum? And to think, you used to be cool. What happened Bro? :unamused:

Italics work well to indicate sarcasm. Perhaps use a font with a serif for the sarcasm, and a sans serif (the default) for normal.

Or simply </sarcasm> to end the statement.

And now that I am looking at them, maybe use those goofy cat emojis. My word, but they do suck.

I'm no sure people recognize Comic Sans anyway.
    I can't put it bigger. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Of COURSE I'm trying to confuse the Spanish speakers.

That's obviously one of my objectives at all times, spoken or otherwise.

And I'm not sure italics does it, nor /sarcasm (especially because we weren't precisely using Comic Sans for sarcasm anyway, or at least, not exclusively).

How did you get that font @Mob of Blondes? I tried copying text across and it didn't love me (not that it's really a viable long term solution in any case).

Sarcasm is a finer art than simply goofing around. I'm being dead serious here.

That people understand sarcasm is not an option? (And no, it's not sarcasm)

OK, you figured it. The lesson is that BBCode works in the default editor... and that if it goes "smart" you can solve the issues by going to the other editor (the spanner icon), fix by hand (like removing culprit tags, or adding text after the last one to break free of formatting), and then back to the editor with buttons on top.
