In a mission with multiple classified objectives, I shuffle, draw two cards, and select one as my first objective. Do I set the other one aside, or shuffle it back into the deck before selecting the next classified? I always thought it was the former, but an opponent thinks it's the latter and the rules don't seem to be entirely clear.
Each player must shuffle his own Classified Deck in front of his opponent and pick two cards for each Classified Objective determined in the scenario. He will be allowed to discard one of them. The discard will take place before picking the next two cards for the following Classified Objective The game never specifies what "discarding" means for this particular game, but for most games a discarded card is set aside from the game until the game specifically tells you to re-shuffle those into the deck or use them otherwise. I would say that you should use what is common among games and treat the discarded card as removed from the deck before you shuffle it again and pick two new cards. I can't off the top of my head think of any larger game where a discarded card is immediately put back into the deck.
That's how I always read it too. In the absence of a definitive answer I guess I'll keep playing it that way!
Wait, you shuffle between draws? The way the procedure reads to me is: shuffle only once at the very beginning draw two pick one and discard the other repeat steps 2-3 until you’ve drawn your allotted Objectives Have I been doing it totally wrong?
I mean, it makes no real difference, but that's how I read it when reviewing it for this question. "Must shuffle […] for each classified"
Each player must shuffle his own Classified Deck in front of his opponent [and then you] pick two cards for each Classified Objective There’s only one lot of shuffling going on.
