As part of my efforts to set up a table with the theme of a chemical plant, I have spent some days exchanging emails with the people of Customeeple and they have custom laser cutted these for me. The container is obviously a kinder egg capsule.

I think this is the first scenery I've seen that is illegal in the US!

Well, at least is legal in Europe... Kinder egg capsules are quite common here, and I thought it would be nice to reuse them in some way. Probably you can use also Furuta capsules for the same purpose. And last time I saw those, they had no lines around at all.

I remember for sure that @Usashi used one Kinder capsule as roof water tank or something similar in at least one scenery piece.

Though the people in Customeeple produced the kits for me I told them that I had no problem if they wanted to sell them around. I do not think they are putting them into catalogue, but if there is somebody interested, just contact them. Here goes my support-the-local-shops bit !

    Hey it looks great.

Is it still ? They have redesigned it so that the two parts can't be totally separated. It opens like a box.

Yep, the problem is that it has the toy inside the chocolate, and apparently the FDA doesn't trust the American people not to immediately devour the whole thing and choke to death on the contents.

They can get the Kinder Joy eggs, but those things are bobbins.

If you aren't smart enough to not swallow the entire thing in one go, maybe your parentals should have done a better job.

I have a whole bag of kinder eggs containers waiting to be made into some scatter terrain. If you glue a few zip tie tapes around them, you would get some cheap, futuristic looking barrels.

It is illegal in the USA to have a candy with any non-edible parts within, with the exception of the stick of a lollipop or similar.

BUT, that doesn't mean this container would be illegal, since there is no candy in it at that point! You'd just need to import it without candy. :)

    Yeah, old but still good:

    I just had to.

And the container itself is really nice ;) I like self made terrain, it shows the passion for Infinity.

I am afraid not. I am still assembling all the containers, but I will try to paint one and post pics asap.

Wow, it took me only 9 months to paint this... weathering still ongoing, sorry. There are more than 30 containers....

It will be a lot of work with a pencil... so many corners! But otherwise they look squeaky clean
