First I love the rapid updating of the Code One PDF in response to community feedback. However, could we please have a Code One change log thread created and stickied in the News sub-forum? A similar format to the ITS News and Updates thread would be fine. Thanks again, I am thoroughly liking lots of the changes. Keep it up!
I agree, and would add that datestamps on the PDF as you update will help a lot, too. I suspect people who are starting out might do what I did and download a copy of the rules to read offline. If two new players have rulebooks with different text, it'd be nice to give them a way to tell which one is more up to date. Needless to say, I'd make the same recommendation for N4, where ITS events are going to rely more tightly on the rules being matched
Please don't take this the wrong way but I have had a pretty shitty day and I'm not really in an "easy going" mood, but is there really a new version of the PDF?
No problem :) (I'd half thought your first post was joking). There are two versions of the PDF. If your version states that Regen can be used while in a Null state then it's the most recent version.
Haha... the ambiguity of the electric veil that is the interwebz. Thank you for clarifying the change and the fact there is a new PDF. That is a change I got from the initial reading but very much so understood that it could be read another way. Cool they "fixed" it so quick.
The other known change is that they removed the confusing final bullet point from the Shasvastii Embryo state about not removing the model.
A new PDF has been uploaded. So far, the only confirmed changes are that printing and copy/paste are unlocked.
Known Revisions: April 27 (28,863,056 bytes) Initial revision April 29 (23,499,417 bytes) Regen can be used in Null state Removal of confusing last bullet point from Shasvastii Embryo state Added printing and copy/paste lockout May 7 (23,478,184 bytes) Printing and copy/paste lockout removed ???
