So following situation: Trooper A is prone behind a garbage container. Outside of Lof and Zoc. He declares cautious movement, which is valid, however he declares that he cancels his prone status as well. There are now Lofs because his silhouette is higher than the container. He can end his movement outside of lofs and zocs. Does the cautious movement generate aros or not?
At the moment of declaration, the unit was outside LOF, so yes the declaration was valid and will pass without consequence. Going prone or standing up is part of the actual movement.
