    Hi,

I haven't found any similar topic to my question but if I am wrong feel free to point your finger ;)

Player A is active. He has a model in total cover with stealth and declare cautious move to move into a onter total cover spot.
He is in the ZOC of a marker, stealth would still allow him to declare cautious move. But that marker is a mine and deployable weapons prevent stelth to work.
Moreover while moving the model cross the mine trigger area.

What happen ? Does the mine goes off ? Does the cautious move declaration forbidden ?

And what would happen if he had started and finished outside the marker ZOC but still had cross the triger area (not sure if it is possible though) ?

    Thanks for the answers :)

If the marker has a LoF on the model, Stealth or not he can't declare Cautious Movement.
If the marker has no LoF to the model (due to cover), there is no way it can go off.

If there is a ZVZ (smoke) covering the LoF between model and mine, the declaration is still valid. But the mine triggers anyway. This should not break the Cautious Movement thanks to Stealth.

In the same way, crossing a gap "guarded" by a mine, the declaration is still valid but the mine goes off.

That's slightly back-to-front - Deployables don't prevent Stealth from working, Stealth doesn't work against the Deployable.

So Trooper A will declare Cautious Movement, measure where they can move, chose their final location and move the model. Then the opponent will check if A moved through the Mine's Trigger Area, and trigger the Mine if A did move through the Trigger Area. It makes no difference where Trooper A starts from.

I think Trooper A is starting and ending in Total Cover from the Mine, but moving through the Trigger Area during the move. For example across the end of an alley.

Yes, because it is no ARO. Cautious Movement prevent AROs.
