    Hi everyone,
    I need your help.

I currently play Yu Jing and Haqqislam (guess who bought a Red veil box 2 years ago lol)
And I'm now at the point where I'm ready to invest into a 3rd faction.

I really like the sci-fi look of Aleph and Nomads. Both just got/are getting a new sectorial with even better sci-fi sculpts.

Just can't decide which one of those two to choose!
Any ideas, preferences or recommendations you could share.

Do you think one of those two would offer a better gameplay complement to my first 2?
    Let me know

    Thanks

I would recommend to just wait until all the new profiles for ALEPH and its sectorial is released and then make you decision.

Mmmm... it depends. Do you only play vanilla in both Haqq & YJ? Do you want a completely different playstyle? Do you prefer to play 10 orders, or as many as you can?

If you want hacking combos, Nomads have the advantage, not only because of hackers and profiles (in fact, Aleph can field about the same effective number of hackers, since aside the Danavas all are more than capable to break heads) but because of their repeater network (the Tsyklon and Lunokhods give them 4 potential extra targets for the Overclock EVO supportware) and the cheap KHD (2 zero KHD cost the same as a single Dasyu KHD, plus the 20pts KHD Interventor, for example).

If you want quality, then Aleph is mostly all about it (the cheapers troop, the Dakini, you must know already from the ISS, it's good as a rambo with the HMG, but quite useful to deploy 4 paramedic ones as specialists or roadbumps), while nomads have Tunguska for that role. You need to be more careful with where ou spend the orders with elite lineups, but they can do several things at once, so the only thing to be careful about is to lose them at a bad time.

I'd say go for Aleph if you want a swiss army knife, or go for Nomads if you want a wide array of tools to choose from, ISS has effectively more fireteam options than the Greeks, but the greeks can be assembled into a very effective force with about a hundred bucks, while Nomads would be more expensive and "disconnected" (simply because there are 3 Nomad sectorials, against the two Aleph ones). The 300pts army box Aleph has is better than the Nomads one, too.

On the other hand, grabbing Nomads opens up lots of NA2 options (StarCo) which Aleph does not, and that is quite relevant.

xagroth nailed it. If it's your third army and you want to do it on a budget I'd say go Aleph, some of their new sculpts are amazing and a very competitive army can be put together for a relatively low amount of real-life cost. Nomads are a lot of fun and some of the people in my Meta swear by them. The access to NA2 and multiple sectorials certainly allows for much more expansion of the collection if that's what you're after.
Me personally, I prefer the Aleph in both playstyle and appearance however.

How are each represented in your area? Having access to other players to figure out stuff is handy, but then there is the fun of playing somethign unique around you

I have only read the title of the thread. If you have that doubt, you're not fit to choose Nomads.

I rest my case, your honor.

    Hello,

hehehe. You have a lot of good answers. Now Aleph is really really competitive IL or Not, but what will work in the next season... who knows!! Both factions have a lot of really nice miniatures and acces to a lot of "toys" and could be really really different to what are you playing right now. If in my area were a lot of nomads players I will choose Aleph, same if the majority is Aleph. If the amount is almost the same I will say you, choose whathever you like as miniatures at most. With both you will enjoy news ways to play. But to be honest... Play hassasin and forget about others XD

    Hehehe.
