Can model stop on vertical surfaces?

    Can models using Climb or Climbing+ hold position on a vertical surface? Possibly due to not having enough movement to reach the top/bottom for example.

    There's a few lines in the rules that suggest to me this is possible (can't ARO for example) but the general rules, and even the climb/climb+ rules suggest a model has to end it's movement on a horizontal surface, so which is correct

    Yes. As long as the base is fully supported and the silhouette is not blocked.

    You can also get there by using Jump.
