An example of the question: I have a Tag that is standing behind a low wall and has partial cover far from any full cover. If I suffer an attack and take a guts check, can I move 2 inches along the wall, or move two inches to another piece of terrain that provides partial cover?

My assumption is that I cannot because I wouldn't be 'gaining' cover since I already have it at the time of the guys check. However I am biased towards this answer having come from an N3 background. Bullet point 1 won't apply since I can't reach full cover with 2 in (and I can't drop prone as a Tag for full cover from the wall). Therefore either point 2 or 3 would apply next.

    Nope...

If the WIP Roll is failed, it is compulsory to perform the first of these options that the Trooper can complete:
    1. The Trooper must move up to 2 inches to completely leave:
    • The LoF of the Enemy or Enemies (for example, in the case of a Coordinated Order, or multiple AROs) that have performed Attacks against the Trooper.
    • The danger zone or Area of Effect of Attacks that did not require LoF.
    2. If this is not possible, the Trooper must move up to 2 inches to gain Total or Partial Cover from all attackers.
    3. If the two previous options are not possible, the Trooper must go Prone, facing in any direction its player chooses.

If can't get out of LoF, must get a better cover. If can't get a better cover, must go prone. If cannot go Prone, welll... Not a lucky day!
