I've usally been pretty impressed with how corvus belli's miniatures have been made and how they assemble (atleast since n3) but the placement of sprue gates on this model are a little bit baffling. On the cloak a big chunk gate merges in the crease of the cloak making for a bit of a tricky cleanup. But much worse was the sprue gate attached to the front of the helmet, its a large sprue gate and basically requires the helmet to be filed into shape. Just a really odd and in my opinion poor choice on this model.
It probably has to do with the shape of the helmet and its position on the spin mold, sometimes its inevitable to eliminate potential miscasts, at least it is relatively easy to clean and bring it to shape.
