Hey, I haven't played Tohaa this year. I'm just wondering what the plan for two missions in particular would be? Biotechvore - Infinite links = profit. I don't think this requires a specific list purely based on how we play. Loot and Sabotage - Need specialists for the Panoply and something to crack the AC2. Would expect a bunch of enemy TAGs. What's your plan?
You don't need specialists for the Panoplies. You can ignore specialists entirely for Looting and Sabotaging and still score 9/10 points. The important thing is to make sure you bring anti-materiel CC weapons, meaning DA, meaning Makauls and Igaos. As far as Biotechvore, yeah, if most of your troops are in a link of some kind, the draconian order efficiency requirement to survive is heavily mitigated.
Gao Tarsos bring D-Charges and a passable CC so they're an option for L&S. Aelis also has D-Charges but at CC11 I wouldn't trust her.
Sukeul K1 Combi manages this quite well CC16 isn't terrible with Dcharges and the K1 is an excellent anti tag/armour weapon. You can be sure your opponent will be bringing some.
Scenarios are Firefight, Safe Area, Loot/Sabotage and Biotechvore. 2*300 with nothing wonky. It looks like I'd only need normal lists, plus one with a Gao Tsaros/Sukeul K1. I don't own an Igao. I've been playing a lot of Onyx and I'm thinking about playing Tohaa for like, no reason. Break maybe.
