So toying with OSS and Biotechvore:

This list seems at least interesting. Big thing for a change would be adding a Sohpotec, but coming from MO/NCA I have really hard time to not take TO MSR ......

    Second list:

    Operations Subsection of the S.S.S.
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10
SHAKTI Lieutenant Hacker (Killer Hacking Device. UPGRADE: Sucker Punch) Mk12, E/Marat / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (0 | 40)
YADU (NCO) HMG / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (2 | 41)
YADU (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, E/Marat / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (0 | 32)
YADU MULTI Rifle, E/Marat, Drop Bears (Throwing Weapon) / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (0 | 36)
YADU MULTI Rifle, E/Marat, Drop Bears (Throwing Weapon) / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (0 | 36)
YADU Heavy Rocket Launcher, Submachine Gun / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (2 | 35)
    SOPHOTECT Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 31)
    YUDBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3)
    CSU Breaker Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12)
    CSU Breaker Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12)
    PROXY Mk.5 (Forward Observer) 2 Submachine Guns, Nanopulser, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
    PROXY Mk.1 Engineer Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)

So a Sophotec but no TO MSR.

Main concept is to have a Yadu link and agressively use the NCO/DropBears to block enemy from leaving his DZ (while hopefully going 1st).

Yadus themself are to be used as a sudo CoC.

And someone tell Nemo not to come here as he might get a stroke seeing those lists ;P

Another hidden option is to break up Yadus at some point to have a 2 "Haris" options.

Another trick is to leave Proxy 1 / Sohpotec inside DZ on 1st turn as they should survive single hit from virus (and can then always quite reliably doctor themself).

Also this is some really mean OSS approach. In theory it's a LI list, but they have almost 20 wounds on table and around 12 bodies.

Do you really want 6 yadus in each list ? (Shakti counts as a yadu) I mean you could replace one of them by something with a similar price, such as a sophotech as you mentionned, or a dasyu, or a msv-2 deva (duo it with one of your CSU for order economy EDIT: well, your CSU are already a duo, i forgot they could do a standard duo too ...).

And you're right, TO MSR is a beast in biotechvore, especially our Mk.2. If you start first, it means it will avoid the first turn damages by being hidden, second turn with NWI if the worst happens, and third turn it will finally die ... but wasn't even worth that much to begin with :)

    Here's one example:
    Operations Subsection of the S.S.S.
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10
DASYU Lieutenant Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (2 | 35)
DASYU (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 36)
DASYU Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 34)
    PROXY Mk.2 MULTI Sniper Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 24)
    PROXY Mk.5 (Forward Observer) 2 Submachine Guns, Nanopulser, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
NAGA Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 30)
NAGA Combi Rifle, Monofilament Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 30)
NAGA (Minelayer) Boarding Shotgun, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 27)
DART Submachine Gun, Viral Tactical Bow, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Shock CC Weapon, Knife. (0 | 34)
SHUKRA (Chain of Command) Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 25)
DAKINI Tacbot Paramedic (MediKit) Combi Rifle / Electric Pulse. (0 | 15)

    4 SWC | 300 Points

Shukra is there just to provide Counterintelligence if you're going first. But this is nice list because if you fail confusion roll, you don't lose Camo state so you just go back to starting like, and with so much infiltrators, you can easily have troops positioned in the middle where their shorter-ranged weaponry can engage enemy heavy weaponry in good ranges.

This list can do most of the Classifieds, but it is missing some critical things for sure.

    ====================================================

    More mainstream Dakini link:
    Operations Subsection of the S.S.S.
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10
ASURA Lieutenant L2 Hacker (Hacking Device Plus UPGRADE: Redrum) MULTI Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. (0.5 | 78)
    PROXY Mk.1 Engineer Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
PROXY Mk.2 Hacker (Assault Hacking Device) Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 21)
    PROXY Mk.5 (Forward Observer) 2 Submachine Guns, Nanopulser, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
    YUDBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3)
    DAKINI Tacbot HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 21)
DAKINI Tacbot MULTI Sniper Rifle / Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 21)
DAKINI Tacbot MULTI Sniper Rifle / Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 21)
DAKINI Tacbot Paramedic (MediKit) Combi Rifle / Electric Pulse. (0 | 15)
DAKINI Tacbot Paramedic (MediKit) Combi Rifle / Electric Pulse. (0 | 15)
DEVA (Assault Hacking Device UPGRADE: Lightning) Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 28)
DASYU (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 36)
GARUDA Tacbot Boarding Shotgun / Electric Pulse. (0 | 21)

    5.5 SWC | 300 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

Here we have Dakini MULTI Snipers to ARO against enemy, HMG to punch through. As for enemy Hackers, Asura and Deva both are pretty good at dealing with them despite not being Hackers themselves. Dasyu provides mines to be placed in the middle. Garuda is there to make a strike in enemy rear.

Dakinis can easily get out of the zone with two Orders, while Asura, Deva, and Posthumans can all stay in the zone for one turn (Asura longer if needed, but remember she has 2 orders as well). Even Dasyu can stay in Hidden deployment or even take the hit from the zone (it'll lose camo but stay operational). This enables plenty of Orders for strikes at the enemy or getting some of them out.

Frankly, this list could easily be improved (massively improved) by exchanging Deva and Garuda for Naga and something else - FO bot for example. I just like the Devas so want to play them.
Or just dropping Deva, Dasyu, and Garuda for 2 Nagas and something else in whatever flavour you like.
A nice addon if you can wrangle 1 SWC would be giving one of the Dakinis LGL to be a scary template ARO from midfield.
You can also push-off one of the Dakini Snipers onto Posthuman TO Sniper.

This list can do all Classifieds unless I missed something, and some are extremely easy to make (Test Run!!!).

Opponent can still limit you to 1 Command Token; with Counterintelligence that's 2. And those you can use for Coordinated Orders to move multiple units out.

It usually isn't worth it. But Biotechvore, especially against no-link-team list, it actually makes a lot of sense.

I had a very similar conversation in the FB aleph group with someone I suspect to be @Nemo No Name :D
I wanted to give some of his lists a try, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

On running a Yadu core in Biotechvore: I‘ve done this a couple of times and it works pretty well. I prefer running only 5 Yadus, as I value the more flexible list building over the ability to form a core and a harris. My thinking here is that I am probably spending 2 command tokens in my first turn for coordinated orders for the people who are not in the core link and I‘d like to keep a few left for denying the opponent orders or token use in first turn, doctor rolls etc. But that’s more of a personal note than a recommendation

Asking here because it might change up list building quite a bit: is anyone sure how Netrods work in Biotechvore?

Best case interpretation: they roll a -3 PH to jump, if they fail they are placed anywhere in the DZ and because they are equipment, not troopers, they are not affected by the biotechvore zone.

I actually replied to that thread and in case I end up being right, this is what I'd like to run for OSS:
