Bioimmunity allows me to pick ARM for my Yan Huo instead of BTS that E/M wants when hit by E/M. E/M asks to halve BTS, does picking ARM mean I save on full 5 ARM because E/M specifies only BTS to be halved?

Being able to avoid modifiers does seem to be part of the point of BioImmunity.

It states that you may choose what attribute you use regardless of attribute the weapon indicates . Based on that I'd say you halve the ARM as you have now changed the specified BTS attribute to ARM attribute.

    EDIT: Fixed some typos

I think it's probably an oversight on their part to not account for the potential of Bioimmunity to impact E/M ammo.

But given the way AP is written to clearly accomodate modifying either value, the way the rules are currently presented definitely strongly suggest E/M only halves your BTS. There's a certain logic to it but I don't think it's intended.

It's kinda elegant in the way it doesn't turn ARM into wasted points if you have a high BTS and bio-immunity

Probably because AP is written with acting as multiple N3 ammo types needing to be both AP and Breaker ammo. E/M on the other hand was written as a standalone.
