    Hi all,

I bought in to Aleph when Coldfront was released, then promptly shelved it for another day. With a new edition on the horizon I thought it worthwhile dragging out to be my main army as I learn N4.

Accepting that we're not sure what the new edition may hold, does anyone have any suggestions or input for critical pieces missing from my OSS list? Are there any units I absolutely must pick up? I note that I'm light on TO Camo or other ARO pieces.

Below is a list of the kit I picked up with the release. Note that I'm trying to avoid any old sculpts, regardless of how effective the unit may be.

    Hello,

without knowing what will brings N4, I think you should add:
-The "Proxy". If in vainilla people abuse of it, in SSO is a necessary piece. They are 2 boxes, I will go first for the new one, most of the times you will use 2 from this box and only one of the old box (meantime you can use a pretty old dasyu as mk2).
-The Pack with the Special Weapons Dakinis plus Deva spitfire should be a really good option. Yet, you could do some transformations and have it without the "pack", but they are pretty lovely models for real. And they are usefull in play. Maybe you don't use the four at same time, but probably at least two of then really often.
-Sophotect and Netrods are something necessary to in SSO and too the box with the S4 rems.
-Arjuna, to me one of the reasons to play SSO, but I don't really like the models... If you like it, then go for it.

Yes, I thinks is almost all the things Corvus sell right now, but all fix well in SSO and too in Vainilla.

Urobros nailed it; Posthumans, Dakini SWC box, Support Pack, Arjunas. I'd add Yadu box to the mix, they're very, very good for running a versatile fireteam (especially Haris), and at least one box of standard Rebots.

Does the Sophotect mini hold up to the newer sculpts then? Also does it fit scale-wise?

I think is a little smaller than the newest aleph sculpts, but she looks Ok because the "base". Tomorrow, when I have some daylight I take a few photos with the sophotectos and, for example, a new Dakini, so you can check if she fix ok for you.

Thank you for the help, unfortunately for whatever reason the images aren't showing for me but I appreciate the info. I think the Sophotect is an important part of the OSS sectorial

Ah perfect thank you, I can see that it's a little smaller than I can deal with, being weirdly OCD about this sort of stuff

She is noticeably shorter, sure, but it's not like she's a real human anyway. Tech's need to be small to fit into tight spaces, so if you're building a lhost for tech stuff, you want them small! (and apparently with a big cape and glowing face)
