Breaking News: I caught Corvus Belli's to subscribe to the pinterest of an custom dice store page: Baron Of Dice. However, this is another US seller. From what is noted on their webstore, there is a project of dice sets InfinityTheGame coming at the end of the year. https://baronofdice.com/collections/infinity-official-dice-collection-coming-soon NetworksSite: https://baronofdice.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BaronOfDice/?ref=page_internal Twitter: https://twitter.com/BaronOfDice Pinterest: https://www.instagram.com/baronofdice/ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.fr/baronofdice/_created/ Example of review: Example of dice set: Spoiler: Previews
Index article: https://infinitytheuniverse.com/blog/partner-baron-of-dice Infinity Resin Dice with Baron of Dice Corvus Belli and Baron of Dice -a U.S. resin dice manufacturer- have entered into a collaboration agreement to create official resin dice from the Infinity universe. These premium dice will be made of resin, hand turned, machine polished and laser engraved, followed by a friendly kiss to bring you luck. The resin is bubble-free and heavier than regular acrylic, giving it a premium quality. Designed and packaged in the USA, these 20-sided dice (D20) will be slightly larger than the standard D20 (these dice measure 22 mm, as opposed to the usual 18-19 mm), making them easier to read and visually more attractive. These products, 100% Infinity compatible, will be sold in packs of 6 units that will come protected inside an incredible metal box with foam inside. ;) The U.S. brand plans to release a first batch of several designs over the next few months, with additional designs for different factions and sectorials to follow by step. https://baronofdice.com/collections/infinity-official-dice-collection-coming-soon
I saw it on the Baron of Dice site when shopping for spider d6's (which they only carry in brown swirly, bleh), but wasn't sure if it was a new thing or old thing I'd just missed.
CB made a article to announce its partnership (I updated my post 2 to copy/paste this article, there are some easter eggs, Easter obliges), no previews of the material, but we have some details on the product: - set of premium resin dice - pack of 6 units - is coming, protected inside an metal box (high shipping costs) - This product will replace this partnership: Spoiler: old set
Honestly, I don't think fancy dice is anything important. I got the old nomad dice at -70% on a black Friday and bought them because they were cheap, but they are just well - simple dice. The new ones I expect to be exactly as dicy as the previous ones and nothing to write home about too.
If person have everything, and you are thinking, what to gift to them... You can buy a little golden brush for their navel... or this dices.
https://baronofdice.com/collections/infinity-official-dice-collection-coming-soon I'm sorry guys. The price is expensive and many of these are in horrible colours. The NA2 red/green ones definitely steal the eye-poking cake, but the mauve on white is hardly inspiring and the new Nomad colours are just the old ones with some dirt on the red. I have a set of the old nomad dice that I got cheap and additional 3 operation box ones and I much prefer them to what I see here.
No comment on the baron of dice ones, but the CB operation dice are actually fucking terrible low quality trash. I have saltwater tested them repeatedly on different boxes and they have never passed that test. All the operation box dice are weighted, most likely due to their low quality production.
I'm a dice addict and I'm not very sure I'm gonna buy any of these dice. I don't know if weight and compossition make them legal in Las Vegas, but colours and symbols are quite dissapointing. Also, even if I'm really convinced about the quality and so... they just look as any of the dice you can buy in chinese webs, but with a simple symbol instead of the number 1. And, as a O-12 player, I would have loved to see the symbol in the number 12. They also have terrible colours that don't match with the O-12 blue and yellow. As I said... very dissapointing, sorry guys.
You don't have to generate anything with them it's a simple test to see if they're unbalanced. It's a common issue with d20s that are opaque even for mainstream dice brands like chessex. This guy even cuts the dice open to show the problem. The operation dice are that kind of shit quality, if you use them you're playing with weighted dice. It's an unfortunate fact.
I actually like the easy to read dice. My eyes are getting old and i don't like trying to see dice. I've had a few people try to pull something on me with those dice that have the ridiculous details on them.
i only had problems with the Interplanetario pink and blue dices. (And maybe Haqq dices from red veil)
