1: Here are the paints we will need to basecoat our hakim miniature:

    Tan:
    Zandri dust (GW)

    Dark leather:
    Rhinox hide (GW)
    Mornefang brown (GW)
    (Use about a 50/50 mix)
    Green:
    Castellan green (GW)
    Wahggg flash (GW)
    (Use about a 50/50 mix)
    Orange trim:
    Skag brown (GW)
    Uriel yellow (GW)
(Use about 2/3 skag to 1/3 yellow)
    **Metal:
    Abaddon black (GW)
    Incubi darkness (GW)
    Skavenblight dinge (GW)
(Use about 4/6 dinge, 1/6 black, and 1/6 incubi)
**if this is too complicated just replace with standard grey from GW or equivalent.

2: Wash the whole mini with GW nuln oil wash.

3: Part one, Tan. Start by using pure zandri dust to highlight the tan sections.

4: Here we combine zandri dust and Vallejo flat white.

    5: Mixed and thinned.

7:we add more of the white to the mix.

8:Once again we apply keeping our light source in mind. In this case we imagine our light coming from above the model. We want the brightest areas to be towards the top of the sections we are painting.

9: We add yet more white.

    image.jpeg

    10: mixed.

    image.jpeg

11: highlights applied. Follow reference. Use the edge of your brush when you can on sharp edges for fine highlights.

    image.jpeg

    12: Adding even more white.

    image.jpeg

    13: Mixed.

    image.jpeg

14: Adding our layers, leaving our previous gradient, at this point we just want to pick out edges and focus points of light.

    image.jpeg

15: We now mix up some pure white.

    image.jpeg

16: Use the pure white to line highlight all sharp edges.

    image.jpeg

    Optional
17: I like to add some time to the tan parts, so I make a glaze of skag brown, notice how it is thin enough you can see the writing on the box/ pallet.

    image.jpeg

18: I apply the glaze in the low lights and recesses where dirt would build up in real life, use the photo for reference.

All done, I hope it's helpful!
