If I spend 2 Action Points to do a Move action, and let's say I get 5 movement points. Can I use 2 movement points to move 2 hexes, then perform an Attack action, then continue spending my remaining 3 movement points to keep moving 3 more hexes? On p.10 of the rules reference, under Movement: "You may distribute your Movement Points and Action Points as you see fit during your Activation. For example, you could make two movements, Attack, and then make a further movement." Seems to contradict with: On p.3, under Actions Step, point #3: "You can spend your Actions Points and Movement Points in any order you want, but you must finish resolving the current Action or movement before you move on to the next."
So, there's no contradiction. You declare ─and finish─ your first Action: Move. Then you get 4MP. Spending MP is not an Action. So you spend 2MP to move along 2 Spaces. Then, you declare a new Action: an Attack. When you end its Resolution, you can continue. So, you can keep spending MP until the 3MP you still have to move other 3 Spaces.
The move action resolves by granting you a number of movement points equal to your move statistic (5 in your example). Once you have the move points, the action is over.
