This might seems a bit dull for lot of you but I think I'm too used of how G: Synchronised troopers behave in reactive turn. So questions : How ARO are generated for FT? If my opponent throw a Smoke grenade so that his Marut is hidden now for my FK ML but not for my Albedo active BF, both of them in the same FT, can the BF not react and still leaves to the FK the possibility to react or am I forfeiting my ARO for the whole fireteam like it is with G: Synchronised troopers and their controller?
Each member of the Fireteam declares their ARO separately, depending on whether they have an ARO and whether they want to declare an ARO. This is the same as it is for G: Synch. What's different is that G: Synch troopers and their controller can't declare different Skills from each other - the Fireteam members can declare different Skills but that will force at least one member to leave the Fireteam immediately.
So, if my BF forfeit is ARO and my FK is shot by the Marut, have I to expulse the BF in order to fire back or am I authorised to keep the BF. Also, if more than one member of a FT is in the explosion range of a DB. If I provoke a ARO against one of his member and this member reacts. Can the DB explode to any member in the explosion range or has it to explode against the reacting member in priority? Thanks for your quick answer.
The Friar forfeiting his ARO has no affect on the Father, you only get booted from the Fireteam if you declare different AROs, and the Friar hasn't declared an ARO at all!
To expand, this is the sequence: 1st Short Skill: Marut moves smoke and BF gains LoF. BF ARO: Friar declines to react 2nd Short Skill: Marut shoots FK FK ARO: Father can ARO with Dodge, Shoot, or any other legal ARO, as no other members of the Fireteam have declared AROs no one is ejected from the team. As another example: 1st Short Skill: Marut moves smoke and BF gains LoF. BF ARO: Friar declares BS Attack 2nd Short Skill: Marut shoots FK FK ARO: Father Knight can declare any ARO, however if he declares anything other than BS Attack then either he or the Friar will leave the Fireteam (as there is no majority declaration this is player's choice) and Fireteam bonuses will be recalculated immediately.
So, if I follow what you say, the Drop Bear can only explode if the reacting member is its trigger range and is affected by the template?
For that, I knew it. But I'm a sadistic guy. DB fall is often followed by a Bolt or a BF who comes with a rifle to add some holes in the guy on top of his natural ones. Anyway, thanks for the answers. My brother really cheated me about this and made me think I could use DB to do things they can't. Now I'm in the good way.
