Are Jammers Comms Equipment?

    They make Comms Attacks, but there's nothing saying they are comms equipment (i.e. vulnerable to Blackout), as far as I can see. Just confirming.

    Frankly, I guess a lot of players would be happy to see you spending orders to blow jammers held by 5 pts WIP15 model that still have their smoke, chain rifles and EMP templates.

    Blackout can be used as ARO, I'd rather Blackout than Reset.

    Particularly if you can exploit a Repeater net to do it without risking the Jammer.

    There seemed to be an impulse at CB to make them as powerful as possible with their last round of changes... I have no reason to suspect that idea has changed.

    Out of curiosity, what were those changes?
    Was it the rework from what they were in early editions?

    IIRC they used to be an AoE centered on the user, and they affected the user.

    But I don't want to confuse them with the E-Marat.
