For a few days I've been getting new tabs on my Firefox open up with the standard sort of "bad things found, request for user name/password" etc. I've been running malwarebytes and it keeps reporting a suspicious javascript file in my mozilla profile folder so I quarantine it. What I've noticed yesterday and today is that the popups always appear when I'm browsing these forums. Is it a coincidence and I'm just randomly getting stuff from somewhere else? The Windows install on the PC I'm using at home is less than a week old so doesn't have historical crap on it.
I've no idea, I don't use tapatalk. I probably should add that I get these popups on 2 separate PCs (home and work).
Must have been a coincidence the last few times as I got hit overnight and this morning and wasn't on the CB forum. I've got adblock but no specialist popup blocker so that'll have to go on at least.
