    Hi,

Just had a couple of questions re. Camo Tokens.

    1. If say a Fusilier walks up to a camouflaged Chasseur and is within 8 inches, must I declare that I'm 'holding my ARO due to Sixth Sense Lvl 1', thereby giving away that its a Chasseur.

    2. If the Fusilier is just in/out of the Chasseur's 8 inches, do I need to be able to eyeball the 8 inches before applying the Sixth Sense Lvl 1 rule?

    3. If someone goes to try to discover an Ambush Camo token, can I hold ARO with it, or am I honor-bound to say "nah mate, the blow-up Big Boss Ambush camo marker has no ARO'.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. You have to announce you are delaying and against which model, so yes you'll give it away.
    2. Yes. If you guess wrong you can't execute whichever skill you declare after the second short skill.
    3. This is not a skill declaration. It's clearer if you say that it won't do any ARO, simply not announcing an ARO is sufficient.

    2. WIth hacking it works same way? Hackable enemy moves close to hacker/repeater. But you are not sure is it within 8", you still have to declare hack aro, even though it might not work, and only then measure?
What with mines? When do you check if enemy is within 8"?

It is the same way with hacking because that’s also an ARO declaration.

It’s slightly different for mines because mine triggering is mandatory, but not allowed to be done prematurely. So the mine has to premeasure if you’re not sure. Safest thing to do is AROs first, then mines.

    What Solkan wrote.

    Keep in mind that
    1. If the Fusilier Hacker moves closer with the second short skill, this may have the effect that they move into your Hacking Area which leads to your hacking attack becoming valid.
    2. Mine templates are not the same length as a ZoC, I think they are half a cm longer or something like that.

Minor clarification but I'm fairly certain that you don't need to delay against a specific model with SSL1 (albeit you'll Idle if you choose to react to a Trooper outside of ZOC).

It's different to delaying an ARO vs a particular Camo Marker.

The reason being that with SSL1 the delaying Trooper is using its own skill whereas vs a Camo Marker you are making use of an ability granted by the specific Camo Marker.

Edit: I've tangentially discussed it here, distinguishing between delaying vs Camo Marker and delaying using Sixth Sense Level 1.
