Friendly reminder: You have to take a data tracker in several missions and data trackers cannot start the game in marker state. Just sayin'. (I had to re-tool one of my list half a day before a tournament because at first I overlooked this rule...)
My solution to needing a data-tracker was to make it my AP:HMG Tankhunter - especially as it was a mission where the data-tracker gets an extra order!
For a 'free' shot with an AP:HMG per turn, I thought it was definitely worth it! Yeah, I did lose out on the element of Surprise, (Shot), but never mind.
One HMG? Bro those are rookie numbers, gotta pump those numbers up! Partially joking, partially serious - Ariadna SWC platforms are pretty dangerous but incredibly fragile. Outside of marker state, they can be one-shotted by literally anything. In generally I try to squeeze 3. This gives you 4 Specialists (two of which, one at a time, can use the LT order; Vassily, if he's alive, otherwise it's the Tankhunter), one reasonably tough non-camo unit to roll as the Data Tracker (Vet Kazaks are pretty good at protecting themselves from assassination with SSL2 and a DTW), a Minelayer that can threaten the types of units you see playing Limited Insertion, and a bunch of camo markers. (0 | 16) 6 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army Somewhat ironically, going balls deep on SWC weapons actually leaves you a bit wanting on dense tables that force close-ranged engagements. Might consider changing out one of those SWC weapons for something with a more diverse range band.
