    Hey guys!

Im not that familiar with Aleph but id like to give it a try with a O.S.S. list.
Its just a local tournament with random missions and player's faction is secret until match.

I'd love to listen to some advice from you guys, Thank you!

The Yadu Core should be the door kickers and gate keepers. While the Cybermasked Hackers try to get to the objectives. Ive been thinking of using Proxies instead but im not sure how to use them effectively.

So that Yadu link is like, super duper ultra heavy. its like 4 SWC and 180pts by itself! ouch! Yadu are an interesting toolbox but i think a 5 man link is just too hefty for what it does.

The big question is if you want to stick to Limited Insertion or balloon out to a 14-16 order list, which OSS can do well. I'll give my thoughts on both.

    LIMITED INSERTION:
If you're doing limited insertion, there are still ways you can run Yadu. For example an Asura Lieutenant L2 with either 2 Yadu, or 1 Yadu and Rudras Gunbot. Considering the fact you can't lose orders to command tokens you can use all 12 orders turn 1 to march across the board and shoot people. the Asura breaks fireteam on the LT orders so make sure you shoot people twice and then reform the fireteam once the LT orders are expended.

Something i wacked together (not optimised) was something like:

    [IMG]10
    ASURA Lieutenant L2 Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. (2 | 72)
YADU MULTI Rifle, E/Marat, Drop Bears (Throwing Weapon) / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (0 | 36)
    RUDRA K1 Marksman Rifle, Mine Dispenser / Electric Pulse. (0 | 42)
    PROXY Mk.2 MULTI Sniper Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 24)
    PROXY Mk.5 (Forward Observer) 2 Submachine Guns, Nanopulser, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
SHUKRA (Chain of Command) Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 25)
DANAVAS Hacker (Hacking Device Plus. UPGRADE: Maestro) Combi Rifle + Pitcher / Breaker Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 25)
    DAKINI Tacbot HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 21)
CSU (Specialist Operative) Rifle + Light Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12)
NAGA (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 28)
    NETROD . (0 | 4)

    5 SWC | 299 Points

Which still gives you an ARO piece (the mk2 sniper), a decent number of button pressers (Mk5, Danavas, CSU and Naga), and the Dakini HMG with supportware is a good long range piece. i was short on fitting an engineer though in case it loses a ftf but i think if you're doing limited insertion a lot of value is going to come from the Asura team doing an alpha strike and then trying to cover themselves with mines from the Rudras. If the team falls apart later, the Rudras with supportware is still a very capable fighter and i run it often in my lists solo. It's table performance is really nice when Climbing Plus, the mine dispenser, and the weird angles you can get k1 rifle rounds into someone from all come together

    NORMAL LIST:
i think OSS is better at 14-16 order lists than it is at Limited insertion. i just personally prefer not relying on a super heavy team.

here's a personal suggestion of mine:

Just as a brief rundown of how it works - you bring the 4 cheapest orders in the faction (2 netrods, 2 lamedhs). Add in a core fireteam of dakinis taking advantage of the fact one CSU and one Deva can join the team. i like to bring 6 models for the team rather than 5, so if you're going second you can form the team with the MULTI sniper and use it for ARO, and then reform the team if your opponent kills the sniper, which they probably will.

the Deva sensor combos with the lamedh's to help you sweep up any pesky midfield camo markers. Co-ordinate orders on the lamedhs to move them up and drop sniffers, then the deva will reveal everything in one go, and as long as those sniffers are still in place those models will struggle to re-camo.

Danavas is an excellent hacker all-around.

for proxies i went with only 2 bodies instead of 3, but it would only really cost you 1 order tops if you wanted to bring either a mk1 or a mk4.

Naga and Dart own the midfield. Naga helps you delay if you're going second, Dart is a great attack piece with access to a lot of ammo types.

Sforza is not a super common pick but i really like him. he can deploy as an Asura, or help hide which shukra is real. otherwise hes a decent attack piece with his BS13 viral rifle. If you're not a fan of him, its super easy to just swap him out for a KHD naga, FO naga, or minelayer, or upgrade the posthuman package

These are just what has worked well in my experience though! so take everything i say with a big grain of salt

Just one fault: Your linked Asura haris isn't validate, you need put: Asura Haris profile, Yadu Haris profile or Shakti to make the haris team. Fireteams mode are skills to make teams.

Only one advice, if you want to make an Asura haris team very cheap on SWC just add Shakti, she have for free Haris skill and make her key to run the special haris for Asuras/Devas or just basic Yadus haris. Shakti+Rudra+AsuraLt2 Hacker+ just only paying 0.5 SWC, but there is the most expensive and multipurpose haris team on the table for now.

Hi, i like your focused team list on Yadu's core, but, if wan't add some firepower and a solid specialist, you need to put a Rudra and Shakti as the LT. But i see here, its a "basic" gunfigthers list, Yadus are good for that, but OSS sometimes want's the MK's on all list. Running the sophotec with an agressive core with NWC to recover the pieces are extremly hard, this Yadu core want's to run-kill-die, just only to survive Shaki as the most important key in the team, if you want an engineer profile, switch on the mk1.

On LI games, and easy missions, i run this:

    Operations Subsection of the S.S.S.
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

    [IMG]10
    DAKINI Tacbot HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 21)
DAKINI Tacbot MULTI Sniper Rifle / Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 21)
Rebot SAMEKH FTO Missile Launcher / Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 22)
DAKINI Tacbot Combi Rifle / Electric Pulse. (0 | 13)
CSU Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 11)
    PROXY Mk.1 Engineer Combi Rifle, Nanopulser, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
    PROXY Mk.5 (Forward Observer) 2 Submachine Guns, Nanopulser, E/M Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10)
    PROXY Mk.2 MULTI Sniper Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 24)
ASURA Lieutenant L2 Hacker (Hacking Device Plus UPGRADE: Redrum) MULTI Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. (0.5 | 78)
SHAKTI Hacker (Killer Hacking Device. UPGRADE: Sucker Punch) Mk12, E/Marat / Heavy Pistol, Knife. (0 | 40)
    RUDRA K1 Marksman Rifle, Mine Dispenser / Electric Pulse. (0 | 42)
LAMEDH Rebot Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8)

    6 SWC | 300 Points

ARO/Active core + Agressive haris + Proxys. For me, this list are easy for run, funny and pretty deadly if you know how to do with that. But yes, this example you need always run 1st, to maximize the Haris and the asisted fires in the end of the turn put on the dakini sniper or ML ready for ARO time, and Shakti+Asura on cybermask near the Rudra in supressive fire just in the middle of the objectives. (No more mines and templates can be activated with the presence of the "friendly troops" by the cybermask). Also now you can backup the remotes with the mk1, dakinis and the Rudra.

This list can be changed to adding Dart for the Proxys or the ML + lamdeth in to a Shukra CoC + 1 netrod.

    GL on your tournament ;)

@InMac oh so you need the skill even with a special fireteam? Right. Shakti or the haris yadu wouls be good choices i think preserving the lt2 on the asura so you can get that extra order of shooting in the alpha strike before reforming the team is good. I like that shakti and the asura both have marker state access!

Shakti are the key to make the special haris options for Yadus, she can save you 0.5SWC in OSS, when this cost are more flexible to adding some hackers or eventually... one EVO if you want to run the Asura hacker + shakti + danavas/naga AHD to do hacking coordinated programs. 1 coordinated order using this EVO; Asura+Shakti+danavas into cybermask on 1 order ;)
