Like a lot of people i'm coming back to the game with Kaldstrom and PanO for me this time around (hey what a coincidence that i'm posting on this forum!).

So in addition to the new box i have some other models from different Beyond boxes etc. so i think i can make a fun workable list for vanilla. However since i always try to order in bulk from CB i'm also looking at two Dire Foe boxes (1 and 9) wich have Bipandra and Indigo.

Now my question is do these models find a spot in your lists or are there just better pieces out there?
I'm actually curious about all lists not just vanilla, so sectorials are also welcome.

Fusiliers find their way into my list just about every game I play with a PanO sectorial (even if they're proxying regulars).
That being said the Dire foes aren't great.

Well, Bipandra is bad. just straight up – bad. your points are better spent elsewhere.
Quinn I think is alright. I like Quinn in Varuna a lot. I don't think theres much of a place for him in NCA, or in vanilla though. I'm interested to see if they're in Sval. Probably.

Bipandra is considered to be too expensive in general (points wise), as she is 9 full points more expensive than a Trauma Doc and only marginally better at doctoring. However, that doesn't mean you can't user her at all if you like the model. Stats wise she is a solid Doctor (for PanO standards) with a Nanopulser and can join fireteams in Varuna and NCA. If I were you, I'd wait for Kaldtröm before committing to buying her. The St. Lazarus dude appears to be a Doctor profile, so he might be more interesting.

Richard Quinn is a bit better off with MSV1, FO and a Shock Marksman Rifle, so he's a solid attacking piece and specialist. He can also join fireteams in Varuna and NCA, but due to his offensive loadout he makes more out of it than Bipandra. If you really like the model, go for it. Otherwise I'd advise the same as above: wait for Kaldstrom and see what the units do.

That's true, while I never take Bipandra herself, the mini always hits the table as a Fusi Para or just a regular old combi to compliment the 3 combis from the starter set

If you really want a doc in a link, shes the go to for NCA and Varuna. MO has Hospitaliers and Sval likely will to.

I use Fusiliers a lot, in my NCA. I have not yet played my Varuna, but I would like to try Bipandra some day, she is very hard to fit into a list.
