Has anyone had luck with the Authorized Bounty Hunters in Druze?

I've been using duos of ABH in a lots of lists and found they just don't perform that great. They aren't bad, but not great. I think I've had 1 game where the stealth came in handy. I think the Red Fury profile is interesting, a cheap SWC profile. I just which they could roll their booty before placement. Knowing the boarding shotgun profile also had a sniper rifle would have drastically changed the placement. I'm probably going to swap them out. Brawler Duo has more potential, especially as back up bodies for the core link. I think the only real time I would play them would be to Duo a red fury with Gromoz. But only if I already had a Duo or Haris to refill my core.

If they had a specialist it would be different.

The sniper is interesting and I have wanted to give it a try, but no... I haven't played with them.

With about half of the Booty 2 chart they could be good, but in most of my lists I choose the Bashi's limited AD and reliable profiles for the price.

I've been experimenting with taking one (red fury?) in a duo with Gromoz, but I need to try a few more games before I can comment. Last time I took it a mistake in table construction had me completely locked down by an enemy sniper and I couldn't really do anything all game.

I think Booty should be rolled before placement. It may make the dreaded motorcycle loot worth it.

I agree that the timing of the roll makes it a lot less useful.

Honestly who's going to even carry (or purchase for that matter) an ABH on a bike when it only will come up in one out of twenty games.

Booty rule is fun, but so unreliable as to be virtually useless to try and strategize. If you get the right gear, then you are probably not in the best position to capitalize on it.

I use the sniper as a cheap ARO piece that stands up with the linked Brawler MSR/warcor. I've recently started running the ABH Red fury with Valerya as mentioned above. This saves me quite a few orders as I can move it as a separate unit from the link team/Anaconda. And it still contains a specialist and a gun fighter. Valeryia drops pitchers at key objectives/to protect the Anaconda. And the ABH covers her, and skirmishes with the weird midfield units you see.

I usually move them up as a separate unit to the rest of my midfields. Relying on pathfinders to sniff out any camo, and then they move in to kill them.

I almost never rely on booty, deploying them for their weapon types. IE: Sniper, prone on roof (lmao). Or spitfire, low level in a narrow lane approach.

I've found myself saving close to 4-5 orders a game by linking the Redfury with Valeryia and pincering enemy movements with the Anaconda. All while moving Valeryia into objective locations.

    For the fun booty rolls:
-ODD, made her a monster versus this poor bastards Hassasin list. Blasting apart mutts left and right, finally knifing a barid in the back.
-Panzerfaust. She locked down the entire board edge.
-Smoke grenades. This had the benefit of her smoking the MSV2 sniper for a kill on an enemy TAG.
-Motorcycle. Of course. I finally got to use my custom model. Whipping around blapping nerds until she ate a stray viral sniper round.
