Been jamming some practice to remember how this shit works for an upcoming tournament, and had a bit of a head scratcher of a game today. 1) If you perform a cautious movement starting or ending in ZoC of enermy models, is the entire cautious element of the move negated, granting ARO to any models that would have seen the move, or only to the ZoC models. 2) Is electric pulse still only against F2F rolls - ie, if a model enters CC, but shoots some other guy on the way in, can you pulse them? I couldn't see anything about this in the wiki but my friend and I both remember it being a thing. 3) Can you heal or repair an engaged model? 4) Can you cause 'change facing shenanigans' against a model in CC - ie, move nearby to cause a Change Face or similar null ARO, then enter B2B? 5) When you hit a model with an teardrop impact weapon, where does the template appear? At the point of impact? The rear of the model? Someplace else? Cheers for the assist, game's confusing at the moment...
1) You need to be outside everyone's ZoC. Underline emphasis added: For this Cautious Movement to generate no AROs, it must end at a location that is also outside the LoF and the Zone of Control of all enemy figures and Markers. 2) No Face to Face needed, Electric Pulse is a Short Skill/ARO declaration with a special CC weapon. It rolls 7 and does IMM-2 for 2 Turns damage. Opponent needs to win Face to Face to avoid it. 3) Yes, as long as the Doctor or Engineer is not Engaged. This may get FAQed, but so far I am not aware of an official answer or FAQ changing it 4) Yes, they can still Reset due to an enemy activating in ZoC, so they have a valid ARO. 5) Point of Impact and direction of impact. Just a friendly reminder that Fast Pandas are figures and that Disconnected troopers aren't Null and still have ZOC.
