This is a Druze list I've been using. I've played with it twice, and I'd say I enjoyed it overall both times.

I built this list around using the Hunzakut to drop repeaters and observe, giving my EVO Hacker and Assault Hacker enough space to control the board.

The Pathfinder Dronbot is used to get in close, nab objectives, and activate Suppressive Fire mode.

The main thrust of this army is the 5-man team, consisting of the Shock Marksman Druze (for long-range defensive firepower, I guess) the Assault Hacker (to protect the Clipper and attack through repeaters), the HMG Druze (for direct attacks) and the Clipper (for fire support and smart missile shots). The Engineer Brawler exists to get the bot working again if it goes unconscious.

The Brawler Doctor comes with a Nasmat for healing, and usually flies near the main fireteam.

The Authorized Bounty Hunter usually exists because I like using ABHs. I'm not a very competitive player, but I want my casual, fluffy lists to be at least somewhat effective. The Brawler LT hangs out in the back to protect the EVO hacker bot.

Finally, the Bashi Bazouk is something I'm having trouble with, mostly because using the Holoprojector rules in an effective way is tough. But I've taken to having them come in and score objectives.

I'd love to hear thoughts and recommendations. Again, assume that I'm playing DBS for the flavor and fun (and because I have the miniatures for it ;) ) rather than because I desperately want to win.

Some thoughts I've had - feel free to disagree or agree -

-Drop a Hunzakut, shift some points around, take up a more SWC-heavy pair of Bounty Hunters. (Maybe spitfire / boarding shotgun) to move up the side.

-Downgrade the Druze Assault Hacker to a Killer Hacker, which gives me a few extra points. Maybe drop another order-generating bot (like the Kameel Minesweeper) as well.

-Make the Fireteam Core into something weaker and spend even more points on forward observers and hackers.
-I have an Anaconda I want to use... while I only have the one metal brawler, I've got some functional proxies I've been using for the others. Some more brawlers and less focus on the missile bot might mean I could sneak the Anaconda in.

I don't know 20x20, so forgive me if any of my advice is irrelevant to that system.

    • I wouldn't use the Druze AHD when the super cheap Brawler AHD is available and functionally equivalent.
    • The EVO is probably a mistake unless you intend to build around Overclock and REMs with repeaters that can get B2. Gromoz is much better in most cases. Running the EVO without a killer hacker while laying a repeater net could make it very vulnerable against some factions. It cannot get Sixth Sense Level 2 by being in a link and can get Surprise Attacked by KHD through one of your repeaters.
    • One tried an true strategy of DBS is reinforcing the core team (I like to call it the Churn). It's including other potential link members near the link and in the same battle group to reform back up to 5 members for the bonuses after it takes casualties.
    • You should probably always take the EM LgL Druze. You don't need to spam EM nades, but sometimes spec firing it is the best tool to take out a lot of infinity's toughest problems and link bonuses and Targeted make the odds decent enough for a risk free shot.
    • I'm a huge fan of the brawler MSR with MSV-2 in the core fireteam. It's as solid as AROs get in the game. The Clipper is a good one too though, do not be afraid to use it as a direct fire ARO piece it's template is very strong and it has no bad range bands.
As for your tactics, AHD don't really protect against hackers well. All they can do is shutdown their equipment, use a KHD to protect from hackers.

Pathfinders are awesome, but with Hunzakut FOs having infiltration they are late game units to grab objectives with their speed, or they bring Sensor/Sat-Lock to find hidden deployment and reveal camo tokens. Pathfinders do pair up well with Fugazis, but other than that the Hunz are objectively better FOs for objectives and classifieds in most cases. They also do Suppression fire better because of camo and starting midfield.

Bashis are awesome, but tricky to use because you have to pick the side they come in on at deployment. Holo 2 is great for walking on into an ARO because in ARO you opponent cannot split burst, so he has to play a shell game and pick one. The bashi also has ARM 2 which is significant, especially in cover. Holo 2's free trigger also allows the Bashi to get a "free" base width movement which can be really nice if he's in suppression fire. Typically Holo 2 is just being used to get surprise shot though, which is a really nice bonus.

There is nothing wrong with the ABH Sniper or Red Fury. IMO it's not worth giving up the Peacemaker HSG for, but to each their own. It will do fine for you and occasionally will be a very nice unit based on the booty roll.

Do not make the Fireteam core weaker, it is a necessary component in DBS and is often tactically better if it can maintain its bonuses into the late game. If anything build to reinforce it and give it better units to ARO with. It won't move very fast but it specializes in area denial and firebase roles.

I wouldn't drop a Hunzakut, they are Rockstars in DBS. The LGL one is fun too, but I usually run two FOs in ITS.

Do not worry about proxying, everyone proxies brawlers currently and for the foreseeable future.

I would put the brawler LT into the main group to reinforce the link if it takes casualties.

Fantastic! Thanks a lot, this is a big help. :)

I played with the list a bit, and edited my original post.

I've stuck everything that could possibly join the Core fireteam into one group. Wisely, I hope!

I like that list a lot better.

Just keep in mind that while I think the Hunzakuts are objectively better at grabbing objectives in ITS and forward observing than the Pathfinder; I still think it's a good idea to include a Pathfinder. Without a Sensor unit DBS has difficulty stopping hidden deployment units or discovering camo. My suggested change would be to drop a Fugazi and the Kameel and pick up a Pathfinder, but it typically only is necessary in 1 out of 4 games (or less) based on my ITS experiences... so not absolutely necessary.

You're the best. I'll keep that in mind, depending on how I'm feeling.

I personally enjoyed the Pathfinder more than the orders, but I also recognize that lots of orders are important!

Hmm.... if I were to drop the Bashi Bazouk (giving me about 28 points total) would would you replace it with?

I don't know, to me it's getting into play style differences at that point.

Typically, I don't take brawlers docs or engis in DBS. They aren't bad, but I don't try to heal or repair outside of scenarios that require it.

28 points is an odd number for DBS, so I'd be fundamentally changing the core of the list to adjust for those points.

I really like 2 Fugazis in most lists though, even if I don't run a Pathfinder. 6-6 Repeaters that ARO flash pulse from a mimetism platform on a 16 out to 24" is no joke for 8 points.

I would be tempted to switch a Brawler Engineer or Doctor to a Haris one, since you have more then enough bodies in the first group for it anyways. Not sure where to get that 0,5 SWC for it though. So maybe leave it like that.

There's some nice suggestions here, but I miss one thing.
    One ninja ;)
In 20x20 scenarios Specialists Troops often have some bonuses for clicking etc, so maybe think about Saito Togan, one of the best specialists in Druze? :)
I played one tournament with random 20x20 missions, 250pts, and Saito did very well, was my best soldier. If I didn't do some stupid mistake in first battle I could've been higher, yet I was 4th with 12 people playing which I treat as a nice result.
So definitely think about our ninja ;)
