Hi all! I am organising a two day event at Wayland Games in Hockley which is easily accessible from London (Liverpool Street Station or Stratford Station is a direct train). There are very reasonably priced hotels available. The tournament will be 300 points with spec ops extra and I hope to use the special missions (if there are) in the special Event Pack. Entry costs £25 and all that goes into the prize fund. Right now, we have a full table of terrain in the prize pool, a goodie bag for every player. Corvus Belli are sending additional support and I am currently negotiating with Warsenal, MicroArtStudios, Custom Meeple, Art of War Studios and Antenocitis Workshop for more prizes. The prizes will be offered out for placement, painting (whole force), spot prizes and a 'little something' for anyone bringing a table of terrain. The venue offers easy access via train but also has significant amounts of parking available. They have a bar selling various alcoholic or soft drinks as well as hog dogs, burgers and nachos. Five minutes walk away you will find a Costa Coffee, Sainsbury's and Co-op shop and some fast food outlets.
