What do you guys find makes a list mentally easy to play? I'm still new to the game, I've got my first tournament soon, and I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome so a day's play usually wrecks me. Would really appreciate advice on making simple but fun & viable lists. I'm going to make one list that's Specialist-heavy, and another that's straight killy. Pretty keen to avoid big active fireteams (moving them around is taxing, so defensive ones are okay). I've got Vanilla Yu Jing, ISS, IA and CHA to choose from. Thanks in advance!
I saw your YJ thread; CHA is a bit weird because it takes a lot of impetuous or camo markers and takes some bookkeeping and head-space as to what is what. I'd probably go with a volunteer and grey core, uxia and mcmurrough with whatever you like as extras. Keep pumping orders into those three things until stuff is dead and then do some objectives T2/T3
I think you should focus on making simple lists with low model counts. The less complexity for you to keep track of, the better. You should run limited insertion something.
