Wow just wow.

 

I suspect you don't just drybrush the hair, right?

That face is fantastic, but that's not really news here

 

If only I could ...

I always hated painting hair, there is no shortcut (if we don't mention drybrushing) just painstakingly painting strand by strand. I had to practice it with some effort, and now it's almost as fun as painting faces for me. Especially if it's an impressive mane like that of the Interventor. Or the Druze Killer Hacker.

 

I`ve finished Moderators and badass Bandit except of bases. Will do it a bit later.

Next in line will be vintage Alguacil hacker and two custom Morlocks.

 

Finished the female Interventor – I had to repaint all the riffled parts, because I was very unhappy with the first result.

 

After not painting for a long time, and not doing a lot of painting before that I managed to summon the motivation to pick up the aibrush/brush and do something about it! Here's my first pledge... (Pneumarch, not Goku XD )

Darker stuff in the recesses to bring up the green a little


A base of a medium blue then lightened up to white on some armour as a test, it wasn't awful! Also a little highlighting on the leg


Going to look up some OSL tutorials as the orb would be brilliant for it. We'll see..!

90 minutes work on the above. Badger Renegade Krome and Vallejo Air paints.

Well, the painting skills here are so awesome I feel embarrased of my paint roller techniques!

By the way, if you noticed, I take photos with a potato. Next time will be better!

 

Have done most of what I wanted to do now. I'm just waiting for the courage to try OSL from the orb.
