I have two questions about cc.

    1. two models are in base to base with one defending model. One of the two models CCs the defending model. Does the defending model get to choose for his ARO which of the models in base contact to attack or must it cc against the attacking model?

    2. two models are in base to base with two enemy models. One of the enemy models does an cc attack. Do both defending models get an ARO and does this ARO have burst 1 or burst 2?

    1) You must always target the Active model.

    2) Both get an ARO (enemy model activating in their LoF) they get burst 1, plus 1 for each friendly model that is not activated by an order or ARO.

This means you could choose to ARO with one trooper, and get +1 burst from the other model (who forfeits his ARO) or have 2 AROs with burst 1.

I didn't think you could choose to +1 Burst in ARO.

Edit: I was wrong, I was reading 'activated by ARO' as 'gets the opportunity to ARO' not 'declares an ARO'. Hmmm... that's probably interesting.

    1) You can ARO with CC to the activated enemy OR Dodge to FtF the attack and attempt to Disengage.

    2) The 2 troopers need to be part of a coordinated order, a fireteam or be syncronized to gain the Burst bonus option. Aside from that, it works in active or reactive turn without problems.

Remember (unlike I do all the frigging time... shows how many times non-fireteam troops achieve Engaged status against a single target in numbers greater than 1) that while you get Burst bonuses, you don't get other ones (like Damage) unless they are part of a fireteam/sinchronized order/ ghost: servant whatever

I frigging always forget it's just the +1dmg/extra you don't get if they are not linked.

That's not true. Note the bit in pink doesn't make any mention of a co-ordinated order, a fireteam or being G:Synced / Servant.

The 2 troopers need to be part of a Co-ordinated Order, a Fireteam or be syncronized to gain the +1 PH MOD.

You can only activate 1 at a time, so reaching melee with more than one can be a chore... But certainly the Irmandinho in StarCo loves the idea XD

To be fair with 7 helper bots you have at least 2 x Tomcats and Carlotta. So getting bots into CC isn't exactly hard (in reality it's more that Zondcats are easy to get into CC efficiently).

And it doesn't actually matter if the Bot is disconnected or not, you still get the Burst bonus. ;)
