Hi, I'm not sure how Protheon works in combination with CC Weapons. This is a copy of the wiki and the part that I'm not sure about: Each successful Protheion CC Attack requires a BTS roll from the target against a Damage value equal to that of the PH Attribute of the owner of said Special Skill. When declaring the use of Protheion, players do not apply the Damage value, Special Ammunition or other rules of any CC Weapon. Does this mean that I don't even get the burst value of the CC weapon? And if I do, do I get negative effects from weapons? For example the -3CC from D-Charges?
Think of Protheion as a separate type of CC Weapon, so when an Umbra Sammy attacks in CC he must choose between his Vorpal CCW, pistol, or Protheion. Also, CC Weapons are always burst 1 unless you have something like MA4 or gang-up bonuses
