Yeeeeeah, ODD spitfire is pretty strong, and if Kusanagi was any tougher she'd be approaching Achilles-tier point costs

She is pretty useable if you reserve orders to get her to safety at the end of every turn.

Well every time I`ve used Kusanagi she failed miserably in her active turn. Not a fan at all.

I’d really like her to have some MA though.

This may not be a popular opinion, but what Kusanagi needs is a Re-Sculpt. That pose simply puts me off from buying that miniature.

I second this motion and add that the Moira SWC box needs it too. They're the sole reason I don't run a moira core.

The moiras got a sculpt, but Kusanagi dates back to 2nd edition HS if not earlier and shows it.
Not that being a pre-2nd ed model is necessarily a bad thing, but nomads did have a lot of sub-par sculpts for the infantry.

Old ones in helmets aren't so bad imo but the face is rough.

The pose is really nice (the real dynamic poses are somehow missing in the new scsle range) but the face could need some rework.

    1. Dynamic can be a double edged sword. Look at the new Kurgat for an example.

    2. The problem with the Kusanagi sculpt is pretty much just her face. It also doesn't help that it was hands down the worst model in terms of fit that I have assembled for any game. It needed a lot of greenstuff. That model just doesn't reflect well on CB. I'm going to convert something to use as her eventually or at least find her a better head. I'm kind of baffled that CB revamped BJC without giving her a new model.

Have we found a solution to what that pose was supposed to mean?
