Estoy dentro // I'm in Piénsate lo de poner el MONTARAZ como add on. Think about include MONTARAZ like an add on.
Thank you very much for your support guys! I mean it! @choponet , about the montaraz, you can get it at thingiverse so there is no need for an add on... Montaraz was my first big model for 3D printing and has many wrong parts and wrong decissions on it. A big redesign of the model may be neccesary to have a perfect fast to print vehicle, but yet, as is, it goes out pretty nice. @Shingen , I hope it reaches 2500 too... I want to work on the interior even if there are some serious challenges to make it printable without supports... If not, I hope I can get some spare time to work on it (in that case, it is granted I will send it to campaign supporters no matter when or how)
That is very generous of you. Thank you in advance. When it comes to printing with no supports my choice is to print problematic parts/details separately and then glue them together, honestly in some designs I think people trying to hard to do everything in one piece while a drop of glue could make the process so much easier.
I don't have a 3d printer, but I'm tempted to back this project of yours on the off chance I get one in the future lol. Looks amazing!
Check for makerspaces near you, they might allow you to print stuff for a small fee, and i'm aware there's online services that do the same (although i'm severely tempted to get a printer just like Topo's because he's that good at selling it )
Hey Topo! I would really love to get into this, but since I have no credit card there is no way... :( Will this go to backerkit once the campaign is through? Greetings
@TopoSolitario backed! Hope you manage get to that container truck unlock too. @jherazob have you managed to find a fabrikator mini ll? Must be popular, all I keep finding is 'out of stock' lol.
This month has been rather rough on my wallet so it's on hold for a bit, but yes, if a "cheap" printer can do this you can bet i'm going to get one as soon as i possibly can
I'm thinking a 200€ or so one that works like a pendulum, kinda like this one: https://www.amazon.es/dp/B072Q94WCF...olid=1HJLAXXC73DTO&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it But until summer or later, no luck for me XD
Those are Delta system printers (the typical printer is Cartesian system). You should investigate before jumping, just in case you end with something not targetted at what you want to print (precision, print volume, speed, compatible filaments, etc).
Just want to say this has been a fun 3d print. Printed it a bit too fast, got some ghosting but its a great design. Just printing the warbird version now.
