I will miss Tarik, I have a few fun lists I use him in, but its not for a long period. I do look forward to seeing what his temporary buff is though! Maybe he will get Specialist Operative! :D That would be great!
If he comes back as specialist, the outrage might be enormous and TOs forced to ban him from events! So good would that be:-D
I finished painting my Tarik in My Hero Academia's All Might color scheme, but still hadn't had the chance to field him. For events I play Qapu Khalqi, so for me personally this is not a catastrophic developement. However, I do have to say, for me it has been fun getting my local players invested enough in the Challenge and will look forward to the next one. As for this not being a dumpster fire, like a more eloquent Haqqislamite said, that's what characterizes the Haqq player base. And why I never want to play any other Faction during the Worldwide Campaigns.
To be fair though, from my limited experience it seems that CB is pretty benign towards the faction. That could be one of the reasons, at least.

Off topic slightly, but this is why I identify myself as a Haqqislam player first and foremost, even if I play and take interest in other armies. Came for the cool minis and Dune references, stayed for the players! As for Tarik, bit surprised he was the guy chosen but everything seems to be cleared up at this stage. I mostly play more casual games anyway so this change isn't that big a deal for me. Not that two months is a long wait to begin with.
Yeah, Tarik is arguably, and also literally with his S5, biggest character taken away from this event, but this forum seems to be the most chill about Backdoor than what’s going on in all the other faction forums. I love it.
