If I have a member of a Fireteam who's a Sapper in a Foxhole and the other members move, does this automatically bring the Sapper out of his Foxhole? (Assuming he would rather not move and stay in his hole). The Sapper in Link Teams thread comes to the conclusion that the state doesn't automatically get cancelled, but it doesn't get any kind of official endorsement and is based on the 'may automatically cancel this state' wording of Foxhole which seems a bit dubious. The Fireteams in the Active Turn entry reads to me like everyone has to perform the action if they can, and the Sapper can, which would cause the Foxhole state to be cancelled.
As per the Foxhole state the trooper can't declare the Move skill, so as per the Fireteam rules they would Idle instead: The Foxhole state is a fixed position and it doesn't allow its user to perform any type of movement (troopers cannot declare Cautious Movement, Climb, Engage, Jump, Lean Out, Move... but can declare Change Facing or Dodge. Troopers are not allowed to move in the Reactive Turn, only to dodge the Attack). So yes, the 'may' in the Cancellation clause means that it's optional whether the trooper declares the Move.
