The Shasvasti Sectorial is one of many interesting Options like many other Sectorials. It does however require a certain kind of Mindset. Many times seen as an Inferior Sectorial by others, it has its fans and detractors like any sectorial. If you play this sectorial and truly embrace the Shasvasti ways, the below are experiences you should consider. 1: Handing over a blank Courtesy List: This was the first thing that attracted me to Shasvasti. The look on my opponents face when they see my whole are is camo tokens. 2: Double Speculo Killer List: No one else can do it quite like the Shas. DOuble Speculo will ruin any TAGs day. HI's Day, lets face it... anyone's day. A lesson in Impersonation for you and your opponent. It's not fool proof, however with practice, they delete big threats. 3: Two plus Noctifiers with Missle Launchers: Three just seems over the top, but it can be done. Nothing instills Paranoia in an opponent like zero ARO pieces. and waiting for that open shot in ARO, or that sneak attack in the active turn is a hell of a feeling. If you're lucky enough to do a Coordinated sneak attack on a hefty target, it can be GLORIOUS!!! 4: Gorging yourself on enemy fallen with your Aswang or other protheon users is a thrill on its own. Realizing that your Aswang is decent in Close Combat is a boon. Just remember, it isn't Shinobu, but in a pinch or with an outnumber burst bonus, he is quite effective. 5: Coordinated Mine laying followed by a coordinated re-camo. Leave a few gifts behind for your opponent to deal with on their turn. This skill can be even more fun if the mine is in the trigger area of a link team, or impetuous disaster in the making. I am sure there are other tactics out there that people are Shasvasti in nature. Would love to hear more. In the meantime, the above can start you on your path to Shasvana.
Tell your opponent that you are playing Shasvastii. See him deploy prepared to take out your camo. Then deploy Sheskiin and a five Gwailo fireteam.
Nah, they have Tankhunter, spetznatz, infiltrating cheap flamethrower troops, bike spam, hardcases for cheap roadbumps, the cheapest infiltrating camo specialist (Foxtrot), and can place nearly 20 troops on the table without much effort... On the other hand, Shasvastii have the Sheskin fireteam and little else aside from extra disponibilities compared with EC generic... Also, the Speculo works better in generic (more access to cheap orders), and the Sphinx... the same, or in Onyx. Starting with halfo yout list as unmoving eggs is a little... dangerous nowadays, with so many AD troops.
Honestly Ariadna dreads the Sphinx. And as a Shasvasti player, I don't really worry about Ariadna as much as the factions that can take MSV3.
Ariadna throws cheap flamethrowers against TO camos. I've done it with Aleph more than once, and it works... (also, you can turn a flamethrower into a FtF by declaring Intuitive Attack).
Ariadna might have better punch but Shasvastii still have everything you need to win ITS games. Their main weakness is a lack of HMG and anti-armor weapons but they got plenty of camo to get up close. I think they need some more template weapons to help deal with enemy camo.
The only problem in shasvastii is that theyr cost is 3-5 points more 2 weeks ago i get the second place in a its with this list :D Fuerza Expedicionaria Shasvastii ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 SHESKIIN Teniente Red Fury, Pulzar, Cargas-D / Pistola, Arma CC DA. I was toying around with some Shas lists as I'm getting back into the game, and I created this list... Aside from how good it actually is, how well does it fare on the Shasvana scale? Naturally, the Q-Drones could carry HMGs if you prefer that over Plasma Rifles. I would probs change a Seed to a M-Drone for the Sensor while retaining the FO myself. It does break the theme of fantastic doubles though
Oh for sure I love the Noctifiers. I usually always run 2 of them, sometimes 3, with one being a ML. The list I posted is just something I'd love to drop just for the look on my opponent's face.
I’d like to propose an addition: Have 10+ seed-embryo markers on the table at some point during the battle
If we are adding things... deploy 9+ decoy markers in one order (shamelessly stolen from the Cadmus Fun thread).
