This is brilliant. Conversions like this will help Infinity catch up to the kind of awesome we see in other games' minis-surgery forums. Keep it up please!
speaking of surgery, I've redone my conversion (while the mini was pretty much painted ><) to add a morlock cape: I think this is the most mini hungry conversion of all time (at least for me :p) ORC troop BR leg and head + ALEPH gun + Wildcat L Arm + Guarda de asalto Arms+ Morlock cape + Ko dali body lol Painting is not finished, you can see the green stuff
Puppetswar.eu I've posted some scale comparisons in this thread: https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/asian-heads-for-conversions.3141/unread
Working on a Tech Bee conversion with a little more oomph. Started with a 3D printed powerloader from Shapeways, which is too small for heroic 28mm scale figures. Sliced the loader up and mounted it around a Guija pilot (with swapped arms) in order to support the stretched loader frame. I had built a safety cage, but it obscured the operator quite a bit, and I wasn't happy with it, so I added a few small roll bars and left it alone. Added the beret and fiddled about with basing. Near completion; it needs glowing lights and a few more details. WIP Orc for scale. A bit big for S2, but it works.
I realised I completely forgot to post my Scarface conversion in here. Sent from my PRA-LX1 using Tapatalk
Anyone has a good suggestion for a clockmaker conversion? Also I have been doing a lot of conversions will share better and closer pics soon.
I think the baggie pants of the Tomcats work perfectly and the torso and arms are very Nomad without being just tomcat so... I would pick either the Dr or Eng Tomcat, replace the head, add a putty backpack... done.
I do have an old Guija ()ald as in the old skulp) and was thinking about converting it into an Anaconda, as there is a lot more availability for those now with the new NA2. Has anyone tried something like that yet? Any suggestions? I guess I will replace the head with some spare fantasy knight helmet. Also I think I am trying to mimic the additional armor on the legs of the anaoconda. Some square plast sheets should do the trick. And I guess I have to find something for the shoulder pads...
Why not just use Nomad HVT ? No need to convert anything, he is perfect engineer proxy. Unless you really want to use him as you HVT in games, then I dunno, get a tech bee and transplant her torso onto alguacile legs or something. I do stuff like that all the time, have several Frankenstein conversions like that :-D
Its a bit difficult to see in the big picture but I have already converted the tech bee in a fusilier body, she is behind the MO Machinist. Edit I thought about converting that HVT, but he might need a weapon or something.
I`ve finished my scratch Lizard so I guess resculpt is confirmed)) Spoiler: More photos Spoiler: And small family photo Unpainted gun is placeholder for proper MultiHMG.
Looks great, but I'll have to deduct points for contributing to the Firing Secondary Weapon Syndrome.
