No, he said IA will get some garbage closed battle lists, and then after gen con we'll get "some" IA profiles, which makes it look increasingly likely that we won't actually get the sectorial in 2018 at all.

We'll just get some shitty unoptimised lists made by people that can't play the game worth a damn, and not built for tournament mission comps, then we might get a couple of profiles for Vanilla. Probably won't see the actual sectorial until 2019.

Yeah. You are right. I didn't notice that. My bad.

I still don't get it. IA would have been great opponent for JSA from narrative perspective. I get that people can't spend all of their money on asian things, but nobody makes them buy them all at once.

But don't worry, PanO will get Varuna so they got quadruple the amount of sectorial that their "powerful challenger"

Second power of the Sphere indeed, not to mention the fact that all this will make less people play YJ which will cause YJ to sell less so CB can justify not giving a damn about YJ. Good job gutting one of the main factions and fucking their players in the ass.

Well, I'm disappointed by this outcome.

    Sorry guys.

I REALLY hoped that we were going to get IA.

Now I feel like I stoked hope that has been unfulfilled.

It's not your fault. You bet on CB not being a bunch of amateurs, that's all.

But I wanted Tunguska in May, if CB had not been amateurs I would have been dissapointed. They clearly should have launched all sectorials in May.

I understand that every faction want its sectorials asap and that you can't please everybody, but other sectorials are seen as nice addition to vanilla (not talking about players interested only in playing sectorials) and the role of IA was to replace lost sectorial. It's not that I demand early release for IA but anything new before november would be nice. The only vanilla faction that has less profiles than yu jing, is tohaa and they are known for being neglected by CB. (and I feel that they should get some love too)

I hope that new dire foes would be angry yj subforum user vs CB staff member with zuyong as hvt. :stuck_out_tongue:

To be fair, that is comparing apples to oranges.

Nomads have two functional sectorials already and did not lose anything in the recent update. Yu Jing, which in the fluff is supposed to be one of the major factions of the setting, is now down to 1 sectorial, less than a minor power like the Nomads, and after having lost a decent chunk of its lineup.

Once Tunguska comes out for Nomads, they'll be at 3 sectorials to Yu Jing's 1, compared to a month ago when Nomads and Yu Jing were 2 and 2.

Treating the two situations as equivalent makes no sense.

    Hell, I want Varuna.

Varuna is the Sectorial I have wanted to place since I first picked up Infinity.

I only ever got into NCA as a second-rate stand-in for Varuna.

But, nevertheless, I think that I should wait longer for Varuna so that Invincible Army can be brought out first. I'd also happily wait for Vedic and the Triumvirate. But there's no way we should be seeing any of the other Sectorials first.
