Hi, I'm a newbie here, zero game and all. Bought Operation Ice Storm when it came out, but just finished painting the minis (dad of 2 babies, musician, work etc...). Read all the books, lurked a lot here and on the net. It's kind of my comeback in the hobby of miniatures wargames, and decided that I wanted to play only with mininiatures I like, in a purely casual fashion. Whatever if they are bad on the battlefield, I must like them aesthetically. So here I'm stuck, trying to put a decent army list to do my first games on a nearby club. What I've got so far on my collection : Operation Ice Storm Nomads Mobile Brigada Box Jaguar box + Senor Massacre Bandit (boarding shotgun) Intruders (HMG and Sniper) Hellcat (the one from Beyond Operation Icestorm) I know that I'll first do one or two initiation games, and lose some other ones to learn to play. But I'd like to come with something solid for my first games to show a bit of resistance. Someone can help me to make a decent list with this? Two hours on it and can't decide what to do. Thanks!

Go to the Army, select NA2, Starco, and start making AWESOME combos!!! XD Aside from that, you have Corregidor. I suggest you to think about buying remotes, since all Nomads factions make use of them (a lot), and find a nice Greeks player with whom to buy the Dire Foes box of Aleph Vs Nomads, he will be very happy to get Thrasimedes, and you will get Ms Mother of Dragons, Daenerys-inspired Lupe Balboa. Also, you need KrazyKoalas, and if you are not going to use the Moran models, the only sources you can use are the Lunokhod blister (take 2) or the Taskmaster box (unless you go Bakunin/generic, ignore). You will also need, sooner or later, the Corregidor box, because of Wildcats. Buy a Specops model (or use Lupe) and you have 5 Alguaciles. Support box is needed, aswell... I personally have the Yu Jing engineer, the Daktari catgirl, and enough S1 remotes (the YJ ones). So, lists. Step 1: Define Fireteam Core. You have three options: Jaguars (assault, close and dirty, spewing smoke everywhere), Alguaciles (cheap, you can leave in the back with long range weapons to cover a lane, force the enemy to use up orders to take them down), or Brigadas (pain train! Hard to use, however, since you need to advance but not overextend). Step 2: if not Core!Jaguars, then see if you want Haris: Massacre + 2 Jaguars Step 3: add Intruder, if Core!Alguaciles, then opt for HMG, if not, it will depend on personal preference, but the Intruder is an active turn hunter, not an ARO piece (unless Suppresive Fire in the middle). Step 4: Bandit, I favour heavily the Adhesive Launcher option since he hits well over his weight with that. Step 5: Check if you have orders to justify the Hellcat, I personally prefer Tomcats. Step 6: fill with cheerleaders, if you didn't chose Core!Alguaciles, then use them here (10pts ones, at least 2, the rest can be Forward Observer). If you pick remotes, 8 points ones go here aswell (start with S3 8 points remotes, then pick S4). The Warcor also goes here.
In Infinity is hard to make all-comers & all-missions lists... Although with the miniatures you listed I would go for Corregidor list with a core of brigadas and a haris with Massacre. Add the intruder* for the smoke combo and start having fun! *HMG or Sniper is up to you, it depends on the other miniatures loadout and whether you favour burst over types of ammo or not. I personally take the HMG 90% of the time, but other people prefer to be able to choose between DA and AP, thus taking the sniper. Also, you can use your bandit as an infiltrated specialist (I prefer the Hacker and FO versions)... and your hellcat can be a pain in the ass if deployed at the right moment in the table (even if it's armed only with a Combi Rifle...)

If you want Brigada pain trains, the question you have to ask is 'how many specialists can I squeeze into 105 points?' The answer is 5. The Tomcat can also be swapped for a FO bandit, which is a matter of personal preference. Only run clockmaker if your meta uses a lot of glue guns, otherwise he serves no purpose. To be more in line with Loricus's suggestions, here is a list I have run before in more simple beat 'em up missions, and uses 9/10 minis you currently own. Go first if you can, Brigada obliterate anything in the open, letting you move Massacre into a position to harass enemy flanks. Intruder can be a fun asset to get into the midfield and suppress, and the catgirl can keep your guys alive and fighting anywhere on the board with her two zonds. Well, I didn't expected that much help! Thank you so much for your time and help, you are awesome! So yeah, I need time to digest all that information. But I see some interesting things that I clearly didn't think of before, like the zondbot, daktari, or moran. Eventually most Corregidor players will pick up a Moran or 2. Most people don't like the models. But you're fine without them indefinitely. (0 | 10) 5.5 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army The only proxy is Bandit BSG for LSG. People do use the BSG but with Jaguars and Brigada making up your list you need it to be a specialist. I really hated to have the Combi Brigada instead of the epic MULTI+LFT but I needed to get the points down. Options: If you change the Brigada Combi to BSG you'll lose out on a positive rangeband between shotgun and HMG but you can take a Killer Hacking Device on the Bandit. The reason I didn't do that is so you don't need to learn the KHD, but it is useful. Alternatively you could spend a point to change the Intruder HMG to MSR. I think the sniper is the superior weapon in this list because it takes fewer orders, but 90% of the MSR is good deployment and it's overall much harder to use. The HMG has a hard time picking a bad target. You can swap the Jaguar LSG for Panzerfaust for free. Panzerfaust profile is a bit trickier to use but it's really up to you.
