My first Aleph model from Mazebreaker is done ✌️ Oh man, was this a rollercoaster of a painting process The final result is absolutely not something I was planning at the beginning. I repainted the body 3 times, as I started off with a dark green suit which I did not like. The green nmm was originally supposed to be a normal nmm, but it ended up getting a green glaze over it Mmm gold was not planned for this model, but I did get inspired by all those fantastic looking black Aleph models with gold armor. So I decided to include gold, which resulted in repainting the gold areas 2 times The green glow was originally supposed to be magenta But that did not work for me so green it became. The base also had two different versions before I settled on this one. Originally I wanted it to be dark mars themed, afterwards I went into a desert color pallet which took away from the gold areas. And finally I just started adding random colors which in the end turned out great imo. @corvusbelli did a fire job with this sculpt! I enjoyed the painting process a lot!
When Mazebreaker was revealed the Sharvara was one of the models I really wanted to paint! This entire painting process was a blast Doing NMM gold is always challenging and requires time and patience, but damn is it fun to do Some of you were asking for this recipe after seeing my Asura, and I have some great news for you. This Sharvara was painted for a painting tutorial, so you will soon see how I painted it
