Only a few months after converting the good boy I finally got the Gecko painted: Both of them sport cephalopod themed livery because I actually won them after placing 9th at the III Interplanetario, my first attendance :) The Gecko I painted back in 2020 has a more naturalistic octpus whilst the new one got adorned with a Pulpi flexing his muscles
I like the color dispatch. Very balanced, something not that easy to achieve. Based on your previous paint jobs, I would say they may deserve to be photographed from a bit away as the close up tend to flatten everything.
Thanks a lot! And you might be right about the photo distance since this Time I took the pictures from a closer point than usual since I had to buy a new tripod for my phone and also tested out some advices from pro painters (e.g. Tovarion, Miniac, etc.) I found on youtube.
Thanks to the Bot in the middle (a 3D printed model I got as a gift a few years ago) I already have my Rumbler Spec-Ops Team together The midel on the right is actually my Brawler Spec-Ops which I converted a few years ago from the Brawler Doctor model and by happy coincidence she got also the mimetism camo pattern
The 360° reminder on the base is such a good idea. Why did I never see something like that before ? Great paintjob, to bad the close up is not nice with it. I don't know why but I found that those minis that don't render nice on close up pictures are often the nicer on the table. And sometime, those looking great close look blant as soon as you start to play.
