https://infinityuniverse.com/blog/infinity-rules-update-5-3 *Added Deactivator to Najjarun.* The long Haqqislam national nightmare is over! As for the SpecOps, I hope for Haqqislam they fix his Doctor skill to be Doctor +3.
I'm pretty disappointed with this update. Aside from adding Specs—a mechanic that won't even be used in official tournaments—there aren't any significant changes. There are no exciting new skills or equipment, nor are there any balance updates. Does CB actually think players are super hyped about casual mechanics like OPS while completely ignoring game balance?
This "Super Update" felt like another paper tiger. The Spec-Ops update aside (which is IMO 85% good work untill someone decided to add more balls and the Team-Ops mode) we only got a few miniscule clarifications and FAQ entries. At least they were really open about why the Team-Ops mode really exists: no one would happily buy a three model box if only one + bot of those would be playable (when TAG Raid was about to be released CB had a similar idea about adding a whole Haris, which wasn't well recieved). Then the ITS document feels like they just pushed out the raw document with really low resolution layout graphics. I mean you can get the single mission PDFs from the CB experince page... but only the new ones of ITS 18
Army Update and ITS 18 feels rushed. Spec Op implementation has many errors and the ITS doc looks very bland. After I read the Spec Op rules I would say its a nice addition with the S4 Turret that can be used for COs. The haris is cleary set up to make money, but in the end what we see so far are nice miniatures, so nothing to blame here. But I do not think it will change the turnament scene. The new missions seem to be interesting. The rules update is okay, but people expected more (no flyer fix-fix). Feiquan still feels not über ;-)
